I bought this to complete a Cousin Eddie costume for my outdoor Christmas display. When I got it I hated to have to leave it outside. It's soft, seems well made and warm! Honestly might get myself one now.

This hat is very warm in the coldest weather. It is a Russian style, and if anybody knows about cold weather, it's the Russians. Keep one by the door for when you leave the house. Keep one in the car if you have car trouble and need to leave the car to go get help. Great for shoveling the snow in the drive and sidewalk.

Wow!I am blown away at how effective this hat is at keeping wind out and my head warm. I wore this hat to shovel snow this winter and I had to take the hat off because I was getting too hot in 4 degree weather!! I purchased this hat for my husband to wear to an NFL game. He said that this hat was very warm. He wears glasses and his glasses did get fogged up when wearing the face mask but other then that the hat was great. I would highly recommend this hat to anyone.This Trapper hat is is unisex I wore it comfortably and my husband also fit it well too.Would purchase again.

This hat is not the most professional or attractive garment, but boy it will keep you warm. I moved further north this year and needed something to combat the cold. My cute little knitted cap was not cutting it. A warning for glasses-wearers: the face portion will make your breath fog your glasses. It's not really a malfunction on the part of this cap - just unfortunate physics. It's removable for when you want to be able to see, but I've found that if it's cold enough to warrant covering my face, I'm not going to care about foggy glasses.

I wore this hat through all the miserable Winter here in Michigan. Shoveling, tending to outdoor chores, etc. It is brilliant in truly bitter weather. I left the nose cover off as you can cover your chin & partial lips with it attached in front. I made sure it went with me everywhere I went even if not wearing it in case I was caught outside. Very light, super soft, warm, great price. Not sexy but it works, and I've been to Antarctica & the High Arctic. Protect your face. Highly packable for adventures.

This product with the face cover is wonderful for being outside in the cold and wind. As others have noted your glasses will fog up but who needs glasses when you are out in the cold and wind. I like that these hats are larger which allows me to wear a ball cap under neath to help with the snow brightness. I have 2 of the original Madd Bomber hats in this style and it should be noted that the rabbit fur sheds onto your clothes and neck.
