I was very hesitant to purchase these via Amazon and have them delivered to me because of possible damage. I have to give Amazon applause for packaging. I ordered four packs of these and each was individually bubble wrapped in the box along with the other items I ordered. So none arrived damaged. I have been purchasing these Reveal Bulbs for about five years now and they are my favorite lighting because there are NOT yellow despite what other reviewers are saying. If they are casting yellow light then that is because of the shade you are using. I have mid century modern lighting fixtures and these are perfect because they make the Nelson bubble shades look beautiful and with their white light. They also last a long time. My last bulb lasted close to three years. That is with evening usage of about 5 hours each night. I think that is astounding for duration. I highly recommend these bulbs and do not be afraid of having Amazon deliver them to you. The Amazon price is so much cheaper than buying these at my local stores even when they have them on sale. It is a no-brainer. Go forth and buy and enjoy the beautiful and clean white light. It is a great light source for reading or for just relaxing and watching TV.

I liked these very much because of the brighter light they give off. But, they don't last very long & if one of the "three ways" burns out, the whole bulb is useless. Not sure whether I'd buy them again or not.
