I’m a co-founder of a bootstrapped startup doing over $10M in annual recurring revenue and went through grueling tough conversations to get where we are. I wish I had this book when we started, as there were things I felt like just weren’t fair, but swept under the rug. Now I have a whole new perspective and hope to not make the same mistakes again for the next one.

In looking back on my 2nd startup, having read this first would have completely changed the outcome of that business. This book hits several major areas all Entrepreneurs need to consider when starting their companies. It is a must read!!

A required primer for all start-ups! It was an easy read with very practical real world examples. I strongly recommend this to those who are starting small companies. It should be a required read for those taking Entrepreneurship courses. They even provide a sample template letter to use to get started with the equity splits.

It's a short and concise explanation of he topic. It's USA centric and I wonder how much difference there is to other countries and regions or whether the same logic holds true for anywhere. A good read nevertheless.

I enjoyed reading this book, it takes you through the basics and provides you with the right examples and tools. It is a good book to have for future reference.
