I just bought these 2 days ago. Hung them up on my ceiling for my 3 young kids to look at. Had them up for 1 day and they made my outlet and electrical wire of the outlet so hot that it was smoking! Glad I got to it when I did to unplug them! Not satisfied at all, and if you purchase these, please make sure you keep a eye on the outlet you plug them in too!

To be decided on how they hold up in the weather, but they are very light weight and small, which helps when hanging them up. Also they are much brighter than I thought they’d be! Great price and product!

I purchased these for a 9 foot umbrella because the battery powered unit I tried was far too dim to light the table below the umbrella. These are easily bright enough to light the table for dinner but still not too bright to be obtrusive at night. They are warm white which is a perfect color for evening. If you use zip ties to start at the very top, center of the umbrella (under the umbrella of course) and then go down each of the 8 ribs, then back along the rib, then repeat all the way around the umbrella, each of the 8 ribs will have two runs of lights on it. Then simply run the thin clear cord down the umbrella pole (it has no lights on that part of the wire) and plug into an outlet and you will have perfect evening light. I don't use nor care about any of the flashing settings, since the purpose is to light under the umbrella for dinner at night for my purposes.

I bought these due to the review and was impressed at night when they came on. All lights worked and they are LED, but do not have any of that horrific LED weird glow or flicker! These look more like the 'regular' off white glow that we all like. I had no issue with getting them up and mounting to our gutters. The strings are long and you must take care to keep them from tangling. If you are mindful then you love these lights. I now am buying more to put up right before Christmas and to make sure I have enough to expand next year.

Like the different settings, the extra space on the end of the cord is a huge plus, used one set for a 7.5ft Christmas tree!

Love the different options of twinkling lights, super lightweight, & blends into your decor because of clear wiring. What I did not like was when you turn off the lights it resets the twinkle back to multi, wish there was a way for it to stick so you didn't have to pick the twinkle you like all over again. Other than that super awesome & great value for the money!

I Love the way they look! They are strong enough to remove and move from one place to another. At least that's what I did. They do have about 3 yards of just wiring from the plug in part of it but in my case it's perfect because I loved where I was able to place them in my back yard.I wish I could plug another set at the end of the first set. But, it's ok I will be purchasing another set soon.
