It's a nice product overall but it does take time to assemble it since the protective film can be difficult to peel off. The best part of this is that you can stack them and the space you can provide for your figures/models.Though I bought the 5-tier version, I didn't use the stairs mainly the fact that I want to display my Gunpla (Gundam Model Kits). It's large enough to fit 6-8 1/144 and 1/100 models in a default standing position. Then at most 4 for 1/60. These numbers may be different if you want to pose them or if the model is chunky.As for the 5-tier stairs, I haven't found much use for it. It's flimsy and needs support from either/both sides to keep it sturdy. You can definitely modify it to make it stand on its own. I wouldn't recommend displaying SD Gunpla on the stairs since each step is narrow.

This showcase is very good once assembled, and I like the size and multiple tiers. Assembling itself is easy, but took a bit of time because each piece is covered by a protective film, which is a bit difficult to peel off. Otherwise this showcase is pretty gorgeous!

The tabs are too short to fill the depth of the slot. This causes panels to collapse. Secondly the tabs do not fill width of the slot. Thirdly the door hinges are also to short. So the door falls off each time its opened. I put painter’s tape to show the location of each slot. And this only way to keep the panels firm and not wobbly. And another picture showing the loose fit of the tab in the slot. You can see the pink sticky note underneath.**Update: Changed to 4 stars. Replacement delivered. The slots are more narrow and fits the tabs better. Firmly locks in place. Does not wobble.

After assembly I love this display case!! I used is to display memorial items for my son's memorial stand. I have not used the inside stand yet. I basically turned it into a huge shadow box but I'm not finished with it I haven't made decals for the clear parts yet. I used glow in the dark tape on it so it will light up at night in my uv light also but I'm not done adding stuff to it.It was as heavier than I expected but packed great nothing broke. The plexiglass has film on both sides it's a pain to peal off but it gets finger prints so easily so I'm glad it was there. The little cloth with it didn't work to remove prints, glass cleaner didn't but a microfiber cloth actually works best to remove them.It was a pain to put together at first sides and back kept falling took 3 of us a bit to realize what problem was. It does come with instructions. The slots in the wood top and bottom are slightly smaller than the plastic pegs that go in them. So you have to take a rubber mallet and tap each side gently down into wood. Then hold door in and align the top and tap it with mallet also. It will lock it together so no glue needed. Once assembly is done it is sturdy but plexiglass does still bend. I put a purple butterfly keychain on the door hole to help with easier opening.My only real complaint is the hole on one of the stands boards however I'm putting little things on it so I should be able to cover it so can't see it. The wood is sanded but unfinished. It actually would look beautiful to stain it to see the patterns that come through.I didn't know it came with a set of fairy lights they are wrapped around the stuffed moth and hibiscus vine I added so it lights up that way as well. I reccomend this display and thinking about buying a few more. Love the look and very sturdy for what I need them for and it protects my most cherished things for my son. Thank you!!

After seeing all these hopeful reviews I was hoping this display case would finally give me a safe way to display my blind box toys, but unfortunately I got the short end of the stick. The display itself does not fit together perfectly and is very wobbly, but other than that I did not get the piece for the front. It works well enough as a temporary display, but I was hoping for something nicer for the price.

Very pretty! However some pieces were hard to connect and took brute force. (We just used a hammer). The cube is sturdy however the staircase is a bit wobbly.

Got this to move a bunch of Nanoblock pokemon figures off the mantle. Assembly was simple enough, taking the protective film off all the pieces was the hardest (and longest) part for me. Once the box and display steps are assembled everything feels nice and sturdy. For those interested the one I got (5 tier) fit quite nicely in a Kallax bookcase, there is just enough space on the to easily get your fingers in if you need to pull it out. The fairy light that comes with it is a nice touch and I ended up being much happier than I expected with how it turned out.

I used this to create a memory box from my wedding. It worked perfectly for what I wanted, and I've gotten lots of compliments on how good it looks. I

POSITIVE: Film protects all the parts very well. Material is very clear, making for a nice display. The small light strings is a fun bonus.NEGATIVE: The final assembly can be challenging for some. Removing the film may be a challenge for some.TIP : To remove the film, be patient. Once you can slowly start peeling a small corner, use a pair of tweezer to pull the film off a little more. Once you have enough material to hold between your fingers, simply start pulling at a 45 degree angle. Just be patient. It comes off easily after it gets started.

The media could not be loaded.  Just what I needed to display some of the small nick-nacks I was struggling to keep dust free. It is not the world's sturdiest structure but not as bad as some have described it here, just some tiny wobble, that is perfectly normal considering that you are not touching it much. I tried to show it in this short video.
