Probably get what you pay for
Like the title says you get what you pay for and this is far from a $10 piece of junk. But it certainly lacks a few things and I’ve still never seen it actually turn off. Dot is good. And it seems solid so far. Only complaint is I wish the adjusters were not a flat head as it is a little awkward to undo the back ones and make adjustments with such a small tool. Absolutely recommend for the money. If you’re staring at the $300-$400+ ones it probably would be smart to buy this first to make sure the dot life is for you, and if it is this would serve you as a great backup for too.

It is not "shake awake", because it NEVER shuts off.
For the money, it seems a fair item. So far it seems to hold zero well. However the claim that it is shake awake is false. In order to shake awake, it must go to sleep, which it never does. I left it sitting undisturbed for 6 and then again for 13 hours and it never went to sleep mode.

Does the job as well as more expensive sights.
Does not have useless gimmicks. It turns on and turns off with the push of one button. Green dot is easily adjusted to light conditions with the push of the same button. Consistent three inch groups at 25 yds. on S&W M&P 2.0, 4.6 in barrel 10mm. Also great co-witness. No problem mounting (RMR). Locking screws hold sight settings. Stands up under 10mm recoil under 180 gr. 1250 fps ammunition.

Nice optic but does NOT fit most RMR cuts
I ended up sticking it on the base and putting it on a rifle because it would not fit in any RMR cut handgun that I own. I have no idea why they would make it an RMR footprint then not make it fit in an RMR cut.
