What is there not to like? I purchased these for environmental reasons but ended up loving them for practical and aesthetic reasons. They make any food served on them look better! They are stylish, amazingly light, very durable, and as I mentioned environmentally friendly. They are great for everyday use (which is why we got them) but also ideal for outdoor use such as poolside use, camping, picnicking or a day at the beach. Just toss them in your bag and go..... In addition, I would highly recommend these to anyone with young kids. Let them drop and toss it all they want! As a test, I tossed one on our tiled kitchen floor and not a scratch! If you are thinking about these, don't hesitate just buy a set. Not only will you not regret it you will order the other designs. We are keeping this set for our everyday use and ordering the other designs for outdoor use and also for design variety ...

We absolutely LOVE our bamboo plate set! We have been looking for non-plastic alternatives for our children and love all bamboo products, so we were very happy to find these. Tonight at dinner our daughter said she loved the dragonfly design too. These plates are super light-weight and beautifully designed. These arrived beautifully packaged so I'm planning to buy for our family for Christmas gifts for their RVs. I would definitely recommend this set to anyone, they are durable and high quality. The hardest part is picking the design from Aquaterra...there are great options.

My plates just arrived, and I am thrilled! I had been looking at Melamine plates but I chose these instead for a few different reasons. I didn't want a dish set, rather I wanted to be able to mix and match my plates, bowls and glasses. I am able to do just that with this set. It was affordable. I received a set of 6 plates for about 30.00 dollars and I ordered 2 sets from Amazon Prime. The reviews were very good and said they held up even with steak knives! I plan on using them for our everyday plates since I have a neurological disorder that makes lifting difficult and we have a pool so they are great outdoor plates as well. My family liked that a portion of the profits go to helping save the environment.This is an add on. I use a lot of Turmeric in my food which stains these plates,I use a magic eraser sponge before putting them in the dishwasher. They look great.

Poor quality and workmanship would not buy again at all.

I originally bought this as a gift for a friend who owns a boat. However when they arrived,I decided to keep these as they are perfect for my 3 year old (to replace her melamine dinner plates). I love that they are lightweight, durable, dishwasher safe, and not full of toxic chemicals like melamine and plastic plates are (I seriously have no idea why it's so hard to find kids dinner plates that aren't made of toxic chemicals).I also intend to eventually buy another set to replace the scratched melamine plates in our picnic backpack, and yes, get a set for my friend with the boat.I hope there are matching bowls and smaller plates available in the future.

We are so happy with these beautiful plates! They arrived in an elegantly-wrapped box (which made me realize that these would make a great gift for someone else!), and they are lightweight yet durable. My kids can easily carry a stack of these plates to the table to help set the table for dinner (bonus!), and I'm not worried if they drop them (double bonus!). I would highly recommend these plates to anyone, and hope that matching dessert plates and bowls are available soon.

I LOVE these plates and I find that I use them more often than the other plates that I have. Lightweight, durable and just the right size to have snacks or a sandwhich and chips. I'm hoping that there will be bowls coming soon! Great investment and I'll definitely buy more!

The first time I used these, they stained so badly, I had to use bleach to get rid of yellow mustard stains on them so you need to know that they might not be good for long term use as they seem to absorb dyes VERY easily. To be completely upfront, I did not do the dishes right away, as it was at a party, and I stacked the dishes in the sink and left them for a a while before getting to them so they yellow mustard sat on them for a while and then stained it. I tried several options and eventually had to soak it in bleach to get the stains out. I am not used to having bamboo/wood eating surfaces, so this is probably user error, but as I bought these specifically to use for parties so I don't have to keep using paper plates, I am not sure of the long term viability of them. They are however super cute and I will probably by the smaller plates to go with them.
