Battlecon may have the better character designs
I didn't think there was a need for Exceed when Level 99 Games already had a solid fighting game system in Battlecon, but upon playing it, I found myself enjoying its quicker, sleeker gameplay. Battlecon may have the better character designs, but Exceed's slimmer, more tactical approach to simulating a fighting game is more welcome at my table. Once sleeved though, the cards need to be stored somewhere else, as the package the game comes in is not feasible for either organization or safe storage.
