Latch is tight but spring loaded aesthetically it is a nice trainer loosens up with about a days worth of flippy.

You have to tighten it way to often.

Ok, it works great don't get me wrong But after a while, the screws start to come out and they need to be retightened. Now I am ok with that but if you aren't then don't get a butterfly knife with screws. Over all, I don't regret my purchase.

This was a gift for my teen son and he loves it. No complaints from him about the item. Would buy again

Whatever anyone else says, dont listen. This thing broke after playing with it for 2 hours, and it didnt come with all the right pieces to repair it. Ive had a balisong before and it never broke.If you want 2 hours of balisong flipping, go ahead, but if you want something that will actually function, get a squiddy balisong.

Don't buy this. First day when i used it for about 6 hours or so it was completely fine. Until the next day i tried making the top screws tighter because one of the handles were wobbly. And when i spent 10 minutes trying to screw it tight, i noticed that the screw was washed ( meaning it won't screw any tighter because the other piece would move along with it making it completely stuck.). And honestly its sad to pay 17$ for a butterfly knife to last that short for just 2 days of use. Of course it still works but with a wobbly handle (no one would want that). And i spent 3 more dollars for another and its way better than this. And it has a better packaging than this. Completely disappointedDO NOT BUY

Strong metal so it dutiable and tough the only thing about it is that it’s a bit heavy and if you hit your hand while doing tricks with the metal can be annoying but for a beginner I would suggest.

Maybe I'm not as hardcore as some people but I read some reviews saying this thing felt cheap and would fall apart but to me it feels way better quality than I thought. it's metal (I think idk honestly) and it's heavy also if it is falling apart like some say it comes with a tool that you can tighten the screws with I haven't had to use it yet but with that said I'm new to doing tricks so maybe I'm just not using it like others.with that said my knuckles really hurt from trying to learn tricks. haha
