I bought this to use as a house for my pets and side table for myself rather than for a litter box. They LOVE it. One of my cats is pretty long (but skinny) and he still fits great. It also fits my 12lb chihuahua, who refused to come out of it for an hour. The packaging was phenomenal; each wooden piece was protected by 1/2in foam boards. It is actually wood and it seems to be very sturdy but we used some wood-glue when it came to the dowels for some extra support just in case. I did need some help with the assembly but thats more of a me problem. All the pieces were labeled well and the directions were easy for my helper to follow. If you wanted to use it to hide a litter box it definitely seems like it would fit one inside, but honestly its the PERFECT cat house. We love it!

This is a very cute and easy to assemble kitty cave/kitty bathroom. With that said, I just want to let chubby cat owners know that yes, I have a male cat who is on the chubby side. yes, he can fit through the little doorway just fine. Yes, sometimes if he isn't careful he accidentally opens the door as he walks out. If you are better with tools than me (which chances are you are), I would suggest you try to figure out a better way to keep the door closed than the magnet system provided.

I did a bit of research before buying this enclosure. Some people had said it was difficult to put together but I did not have the problem. Definitely get someone to help you if need be. Another review said it was difficult to clean. It is all made of wood, which is not sealed to be water proof. So I lined the inside with contact paper. That way I could clean it and it became waterproof inside. I would recommend this to all cat parents!

I do like the concept of the product and it is fairly easy to assemble. But, it is very flimsy. It's not what I thought it would be when it came to sturdiness. Also, the liter box they recommend for this , does not fit. It's too wide and long. ( wasted money) so, for the price I paid and the quality of the product it's a 2.5 stars. I rounded up to be nice. The best part is that I put my cats little sleep hut in it and he loves that part of it.

All I can say is EVERY cat owner should own one of these, we got it because there was always cat litter scattered around the basic litter box we started out with.. also because our dog was eating the litter and this cat litter house has helped with both dilemmas… honestly it Had a red stain in the inside but doesn’t affect the aesthetic or function of the item thankfully because it was on the inside of the house another review also had the same problem of the red stain!

This is a nice unit however, I was disappointed in how small the front opening was for the cat to go thru. It is much smalled then it looks like on the photo. Also, make sure you pay attention to the interior size for the cat liter box. I had to buy a smaller one. The front of the liter box can cover part of the opening so it is less room for the cat to get thru the cut out.. I measured from the inside bottom floor to the bottom of the hole, it measured about 5 inches. i ordered a new liter box but might have to cut the front of it so the box wont cover the hole. Otherwise, it is really nice.

I bought this item because my friend had one and I thought it looked very cute on the exterior. And in person it is very cute from the outside. The assembly however could be improved upon. There are only photos and no text to assist so I found myself having to go back on certain steps. Also, the large screws meant to hold the whole thing together should be screwed in VERY tight and it doesnt mention that in the instructions. Once assembled, I was lifting it into position and one side gave way because one of the silver screws was not all the way tight causing the top shelf to crack underneath and I had to lay the unit over on its side again to re-assemble the side that had fallen apart. By looking at the overall item, it shouldn't be difficult to assemble, but the directions specifically say not to use a power drill and only use a hand turned screw, which I think is the main downfall of the assembly process. But I'm guessing a power drill might also cause breaks in the wood. Overall, it looks cute aesthetically, but improvements could be made to the assembly process or instructions. Also, it should be noted that the back of this item is not the same material as the front and sides - it is a softer plywood that slides into place - I think this also keeps it from being super sturdy during assembly.

SO happy with this! Really worth the investment if you live in a small space/studio apt. It is a million times better than looking at a dirty litter box or having kitty track around a ton of litter in your small bathroom. It looks great and matches the surrounding white furniture and shelves nearby; The space above the litterbox also doubles as an end table or hallway table; and there is a shelf within for food or storage of the litter scooper. This basically doubles/triples the use of space in comparison to having a catbox with nothing around it. The door keeps all the litter contained for kicking kitties as opposed to putting a cat box in a nightstand or shelf not made for the specific purpose. My big cat is 16lbs and gets in and out comfortably, which was my biggest concern. He loves it! It was somewhat easy to assemble from what I saw (my boyfriend assembled it for me, but it did not take him long). It is sturdy and holds weight well/doesn't wobble.

My cat is very confused as to why she now has to poop in the furniture! This hidden litter box is amazing. It's perfect for my small space and serves many functions. The best part is it's not an eyesore when company comes over. Definitely a solid buy. I purchased the box that showed up in the, "frequently bought together," suggestion and it fits perfect. The scoop is even hidden inside. Also solid quality and easy to put together.

Every day I'm glad that I got this! It was easy to assemble and is according to the dimensions given by the supplier, so fits in nicely into the intended space. The product wasn't that well packed, so there is a little nick in the top board, but probably only I can see it...I left the door open the first day so my cat could get used to using it and then only closed the door after she figured it out. Haven't had an issue since. The litter box needs to be quite small to fit, which is what we were already using.

Looks used in certain areas, I would still recommend this as it is a good buy however, it has scuffs and marks on it

This is a great item. My older cat and kitten took to it straight away. Much neater and nicer to look at than standard litter box. The only draw back was finding a tray to fit it, but after some measuring and googling we found that's fits.

Just love these litter tray pieces of furniture. We bought two and have three Maine Coones. They are fab and hide the trays beautifully and our large boy looks so funny when he uses it with his head out. Brilliant
