Loud and clear.
**Loud and Clear: A Comparative Analysis**To my surprise, these speakers have outperformed the Rockford Fosgate Punch p4s I previously owned. At a significantly lower cost, they deliver a more potent sound without experiencing distortion. The clarity is also exceptional. I highly recommend pairing these speakers with a high-quality amplifier for optimal performance.

Impressive speakers!!
So I did about 3 weeks or so of researching various 6.5 inch speakers. There is a lot of them out there. And with so many variables,it's not an easy task to pick which ones to buy. Decisions, decisions! I've been involved with car audio for a long time and I've had some decent systems I vehicles I've owned, most being used stuff from friends or stuff I've purchased. But this is the first time I've decided to start with everything brand new and to keep it exciting I'm trying to build a system and keep it under $800. I know,I know it can be done, and some say it can't. I was down to two choices for the 6.5 speakers,C.T. Sounds and DS18. My friend has some DS18's in his Tahoe, and they are pretty damn loud. I went with CT Sounds so we could compare sound and because for under a hundred bucks it was a good deal. Well it turned out to be a SMOKIN DEAL!!!. They arrived early, packaging was phenomenal and when I picked up the box I knew that I made a great decision. They were heavy so I knew i wasn't getting cheap made speakers. I pulled them out of their individual boxes and was stoked to see how big the magnets were and that the quality was outstanding. Nothing cheap here. I installed them in about 30 mins and when I turned on the deck and put power to em,HOLY LOUD AS HELL BATMAN!!! These speakers are loud and the sound quality is clear and precise. Exactly what I was looking for. When compared to the DS18's my friend has,it was close but I think the CT's are louder and I only threw 150 watts at em. We are going to do another comparison this weekend with full installation and full RMS thrown at em. I'll update in about a week as to how that goes. For me,my budget and the sound I want and a quality product,CT Sounds is a pretty good decision. And they came with CT Sounds stickers!!! Pretty nice!

Awesome replacement to Skar FSX65!
Don’t get me wrong I love skar for being affordable and sounding pretty decent (for the price) but I finally outgrew my Skar FSX65 speakers that were in my civic doors. After a little bit of research I found these and decided to bite the bullet and purchase only two, to see how they compared, and boy am I happy! These honestly blow the skars out of the water in sound, and power handling! The skars at higher volumes would bottom out and you could audibly hear it, whereas these CT speakers go waaaaay beyond and sound crisp and clear! Pushing 150-200w RMS on average to each door speaker and these take it like a champ! I know they’re rated for 250w rms but honestly in my little civic even I don’t want that loud but I also know I won’t blow these bad boys anytime soon!Installing was a breeze with the push terminals and not having to deal with spade connectors. Fitting it in my civic was a little wonky due to the connectors protruding out a bid and I had to MAKE them fit, otherwise these are solid door speakers performing better than I expected! Now I know what you’re thinking because I thought the same, two of the skars speakers is the price of ONE of the CT sounds, and to that I say… I get it and depending on your listening needs you may or may NOT want these speakers! Do you want crisp clear sounds at REALLY high volume to the point someone two blocks over can hear you? Do you have a dedicated amp just for door speakers that is pushing 200w RMS per channel? If not, go with the skars they still sound great and get loud but if you want to absolutely SLAM the streets, get the CT soundsI personally love them and am going to order another pair for the rear doors!

Can’t go wrong with CT Sounds!!
I already have Meso 12” sub that I run from CT Sounds so I already had my hopes very high for these 6.5 pro audio midrange . Keep in mind this is an 06 Chevy Tahoe w/bose and Kenwood DMX709s. I bought these to replace the front doors and it turned out to be a little easier than I was expecting . I have had many gmt800 trucks but this is the first w/bose that I’ve tried replacing everything . I didn’t have the adapter connector to connect the speaker to the factory wiring but oh well I had to cut the connector. Match up my positive and negative from the speaker to the factory wiring, heatshrink, a little electrical tape and put the door panel back on and done .I know I still have not bypassed my Bose amp which everyone has told me to do , I’m just not at that point yet. When I get a 4 channel for my highs I will so with that being said , these speakers still sound great even with factory wiring and factory Bose amp. They get loud, and it clear, and louder and louder as you turn the volume up. I’ve never personally had a coaxial speaker that could out do these meso 6.5s . Very happy. Going to purchase two more for the back doors and purchase a four channel and see if I can’t wake them up a little bit.

Perfect Mid Loudspeaker
I installed these in some tower cans for rear fill in my YJ and couldn't be happier! I got rid of the annoying soundbar cause it ruins the staging when setting up my fronts. I run this Jeep with the top off most of the year and by putting these in the cans away from my head, I can balance out the sound stage without it being right on top of me. I'm only running them on 75 watts right now but will be upgrading my amps in spring and they will be seeing 200 watts each. All of my speakers in my YJ are CT Sounds Meso Series. I have a 6.5 comp set in a centra pod up front with the tweets at the side of the dash. For Subs I'm Running 2 12's on a 600 watt amp and 2 10's at 400watts. The mids and highs are seeing 75 watts each. This Jeep is like an outdoor concert in the summer time and I get compliments all the time for how loud and clear it is. You can't buy a better speaker for the price period.
