Keep you feet comfortable.
I do concert production for a living, many years ago I tried to find something for my feet to be able to endure the long hours of standing, and working. Nothing seemed to help, then a friend gave me a pair of USMC issued Belleville boots, and from that moment on I was a fan. They lasted longer than anything I've ever owned. The first pair finally gave out, unable to repair. So my friend noticed I didn't have my boots on and he gave me a second pair. They have been faithful, and I still have them 10 years later. Other than the insole needing replaced, only Belleville insoles will do, they are a little dirty, but have been comfortable. This brings me to these wonderous boots I just purchased, I know they are built to last with American pride behind them. If you are looking for a solid pair of boots that will last, and are built to military standards, look no further. These will last you a very long time. Just remember to ONLY buy Belleville insoles, for they are the only ones I can testify to you that will make it feel like you are walking on soft ground.

Real deal
I was issued the 390DES size 9 that fit great, I was also issued the same and struggled until a size 10 fit. So in the Army I had two pair of boots, two different sizes, both fit the same. I had the same struggle here. I ended up keeping size 9 1/2, but wish I had one of those size 9 "on the big side" that are really size 10. Other than that, these boots should last a civilian years. Comfortable ( I still replace the insole with SOF brand). Can withstand loose, sharp rocks, rain, mud, sand, a bit slippery in the snow and no good for wet metal loading ramps (really nothing is). If you can get away with them, the "Hi Tech/Magnum research" are better for garrison work-more like sneakers.

Very well made
I bought these boots as my hiking boots. They have great traction, while not picking up as much mud as other boots. I’ve used for 3 long hikes already, and I’ve seen almost no wear. The only reason I’m not giving them full stars is because the description states they are unlined boots. The canvas upper is unlined, but all of the leather is lined with some material that gets really hot. I can’t believe this is a hot weather boot.

Big price big regret
This boot has high reviews from others, but having had these boots for 3 months they are not performing as I hoped. I bought these to replace my Bates - and these are definitely not an equal trade for Bates. 1. The thick rubber sole is heavy. I thought it would provide more cushion, but all it does is add weight to the boot. 2. I usually wear a 10D, I bought a 9.5D wanting some room in the toes. The toe box is fine, but the fit around the heal is loose. My heal slides up and down in the boot (despite how much I tighten the boots) and my socks are getting worn out in the heal. 3. The construction of the boots digs into my outer ankle bone.I live overseas and unfortunately got these in the mail the day before I left to return over seas, and thought they would be OK. If I could have I would have returned them for my money back. Pricey purchase that is spending more time taking up room on my shelf.

Good
Bought the same size I previously had. This one was a little larger for whatever reason. Use a thick insole to take up the extra room.
