Unusual Headphone
I gave it a 5 for comfort after carefully spreading open the headband spring. The switch is too small. The charge port should be on the bottom. The sound is real good for voice reproduction.

Has a Lot to Commend it
It turns out that SoundMAGIC P23BT Wireless Bluetooth Headphones have a lot to commend them including being reasonably lightweight for the type of headphones that they are. The sound quality is very good and they are easy to pair with a laptop, Smartphone, or Smart Television which is important to me since I frequently switch Bluetooth pairings. They are perfect for someone who wants to work to music while someone else in the room wants to watch TV. Everything is controlled by controls on the left earphone. There is an on/off button which connects automatically to whatever it is paired to when it is powered on. Of course, it pairs to one thing at a time so you must connect it manually to any device to which it is not currently paired. This is fortunately very easy to accomplish. There are no volume control buttons so volume is controlled by tracing your fingers either up or down on the left earphone. I am quite pleased with this headset.

Good for watching TV but with issues
I'm torn about whether to give these headphones two stars or three. I wanted a pair of Bluetooth headphones to use exclusively for watching television at night and these do work surprisingly well for that purpose. But design issues and poor build quality make them difficult to recommend.I have a new neighbor who is hypersensitive to sound--she watches her own television with the sound turned all the way down and the closed captioning on and to avoid her obnoxious banging on the ceiling (which is my floor) I decided to use headphones when watching movies after 6 pm.I first tried two different pairs of RF headphone and transmitter combos that were specifically made for television viewing but wasn't happy with the sound--dialogue was clear but everything sounded flat and hollow. Then I decided to go the Bluetooth transmitter route since that would allow the use of much higher quality headphones.I tried the following headphones for watching movies: Bose NC700 (which are $300 headphones); Sony WH-1000XM4 (also $300 headphones); Bluedio V2 (Victory); and House of Marley Exodus NC.With the Bose, Sony, and Bluedio headphones dialogue was clear, sound effects were punchy, but with all three the sound field was overwhelmed by bass which made the overall sound very unappealing compared to using my surround sound speakers. The House of Marley headphones actually sounded very good but those are the headphones I use every day for music listening and I wanted a pair of headphones to use just for watching television so I tried the SoundMAGIC P23BT.The good:These headphones actually do sound good when using them for watching movies--including streaming stuff like Suicide Squad and Malignant which are both a pretty good test for headphones. The sound field is balanced with nice highs and lows and everything has clear definition. Sound effects don't have punch or impact but having a balanced sound field (which the Exodus headphones also provided) makes movie-watching far more enjoyable than sound that's overwhelmed by bass. The SoundMAGIC P23BT headphones are basically a much better sounding version of what those RF headphones designed for television viewing are trying to do. Just in terms of their overall sound, these are a nice option for late-night television viewing. The SoundMAGIC P23BT headphones also support both aptX HD and aptX CSR codecs (the latter is low-latency) which is unusual for newer headphones for reasons I won't go into since this review is already pretty long but none of the four headphones I listed above including the two $300 pairs support aptX codecs. The Bluetooth transmitter I'm using also supports both of those AptX codecs (I had no latency issues using aptX HD for movies) which could account at least partly for the balanced sound and clear definition--but since the Exodus headphones provide the same balance without aptX I'm skeptical that those codecs really make any difference. Still, there are some people who swear by aptX codecs (especially gamers) and they would consider headphone support a definite plus. Now the bad:Both the design and the build quality of these headphones are simply terrible. They feel so cheap I was afraid of breaking them while prying them out of the box where they are held in place very tightly by molded plastic. These headphones feel like they could easily break if mishandled. The charging port is located on the top of the left ear cup and is covered with a thin piece of rubber. The placement and design make charging these headphones awkward. The power button is located on the bottom of the same ear cup but the plastic where the power button is located is so narrow and the button itself so small and flush with its surroundings that it's nearly impossible to find while wearing the headphones--although powering them off manually isn't necessary since they turn-off automatically 5 minutes disconnection from a Bluetooth device. The ear cups are too small and caused some discomfort over time--I had to take the headphones off or adjust them periodically because they were making my ears ache. Even the otherwise pretty terrible RF headphones have much larger and more comfortable ear pads. You can probably see my dilemma in trying to provide a rating. The poor build quality and design make the SoundMAGIC P23BT headphones very difficult to recommend but for television viewing, they sound much better than $300 headphones from Sony and Bose. It's a shame SoundMAGIC didn't make these better but for $50 some people might find them good enough for television viewing or gaming. These haven't ended my search for a really good pair of TV headphones but until I find them I will keep using these.
