Gain the offensive advantage...
As a life-long follower of fight training, I have many books on my shelf. This book would've been very welcome back 27 years ago when I started my journey. Covering what Probable Reaction Dynamics are, how knowing how people react can prepare your offensive/defense, the target zone, and safety. All this covered with images for clarity (both illustrations and photos).Through security and bar work, I have the clear memories and experience that have me agreeing with Mr Franco's view of the ebb and flow of fighting to survive/win on the street. I tend to use the same combinations, and this book offers a few more.If you are starting out, or a veteran of street altercations, this book can enhance and reinforce your strategic awareness. Also has some interactive pages where you can write down some offensive and defensive PRD's.Supports the Blitzkrieg in the Streets DVD nicely. Thanks CFA.

So you have hit him, and now?
Many program of RBSD concentrate of defending and the first strike, but an agressor rarely will be out after only one blown, and surely he will not be standing like a punching bag... The first strike will cause a reaction, and this book shows how to exploit it. Great book, plenty of picture, listing most of the Probable Reaction Dynamic and how to use it for ending a fight quickly. A must have for any student of self defense.

If you know Franco's books and videos you know what to expect
Franco's stuff is ok and I like it while its always over sensationalized. Basic techniques that you will know if you studied Martial Arts/Self Defense at all. Nothing new here but ok to have in your Self Defense Library.

Brief and Brutal
This is my second Sammy Franco book and again he doesn't disappoint. Franco's method doesn't waste time with complex moves. The Probable Reaction Dynamic (PRD) method gives the practitioner a great way to anticipate an opponent's reaction and follow up with the appropriate combination. The information in this book is well worth the price and may even save your life

Nicht zu empfehlen
Das schlechteste Buch das ich auf diesem Gebiet bisher gelesen habe. Wenn auch günstig, das Geld ist es nicht wert.

Recommended to Rookies only.
For those who have some knowledge in martial arts, especially those without much rules, more realistic, you will be disapointed at most. Not that this book is bad, but won't say anything new to anyone who is above beginner's level and not fighters.Too much Picture, what is great. At the same hand is better to watch any tutorial on YouTube.Well, burnt my money with this one...But I repeat, that's me.Plus, the advices here won't save up your ass in a brutal fighting.
