Outdoor Interiors 50300AST-MB Pyramid Torch (2 Pack), Large, Matte Black

I have had these for about 3 months now. Actually purchased 2 and then 2 weeks later purchased 2 more. I have them on my dock on my canal (live in FL). They look so nice at night and help with the bugs for sure. The outside is perfect! The burner unit at the top is starting to become discolored and the small chain that holds the cover to go over the wick is now completely rusted. It's only a matter of time before it will come off completely. Should have used stainless steel chain.

These are beautiful and have a great flame! The 2 stars is because while they are weather resistant they are not "water" resistant. We purchased a set for around the pool/patio and within a few months they had pitting and a "whitish" staining, along with rusting around the bottom. Because we loved the look so much we purchased another set when the original ones were too unattractive for use. Sadly the same thing began to happen. I even tried spraying a clear finish on them but it only bought a little more time. Not sure if it is from chlorine residue from tap water when watering the plants or salt residue from the pool but they didn't last. NOW, we have since repainted all 4 of them with rustoleum and they look great and are holding up - but not nearly as cool looking.

2-15-17 - I reviewed the comments others made after they purchased, before I decided to buy these, and feel that the comments are spot on. These torches are very well built, add your sand or stone and they are tip resistant (only negative comment I remember seeing but instructions tell you to add ballast) I used sand so no rattling of stones when I move them around as these are metallic torches. My wife loves them and so do I. As soon as our new patio/pool is complete we will be buying at least two more.

This product definitely looks like it will rust sooner than later,my back up plan is to re spray with a rust proof paint etc , height is perfect , the canisters are somewhat small in comparison to the size of the frame ,overall cool 👍

I thought they were a little expensive a first look but purchased a set anyway. Filled them with washed pea gravel for recommended weight, filled the oil tanks. I was impressed with how beautiful they looked and well built they were. Also impressed with the amount of light they produced we bought 2 more sets. Well worth the money! Outdoor Interiors customer service is outstanding!

These are a gorgeous addition to our patio next to the hot tub! I put sand in the bottom as recommended because they ARE super lightweight. 10 lbs of sand each and there pretty solidly planted now. I’ll never be cheap and buy lesser torches again! These are it, from now on! Beautiful and easy to use, and worth every penny.

Very awesome tiki torches. Make sure you follow the instructions and correctly fill the torches. They are unbelievably light. I used a 50lb bag of sand with about 25lbs in each. They have never fallen over (yet atleast).

Just received them and I’m in LOVE! Very lightweight though .. will have to pour some sand inside them to keep them from blowing over but, simply stunning!
