DECKYSailor Beanies

I really like this beanie! It feels warmer than I expected since the acrylic fibers are tightly woven together. This is just a simple, utilitarian hat that is well constructed and discreet (no labels anywhere on the outside). The seams are strong and I get a feeling it won't fall apart so soon. I have a slightly larger than average head but fits well, fits a little tight but it should loosen up with time. I like that it fits tight against my shaved head and doesn't create any bulk on top of my head. Finally the reason for all five stars is that the price was excellent.

It's a light to mid-weight beanie that's knitted in the "sweater material" knit. It fits pretty rounded on the head without those annoying "seam bumps" showing up on your head. To be honest my only real complaint is that the rim is knitted in such a way that it cant be adjusted from the knitted size, and it appears to be "rolled" and the end of the rim which sits somewhere on my forehead curls forward (kinda like how a sweater sleeves curls up once you cut the sleeves off?!) Im sure this thing is plenty warm but it's not exactly "fashionable" so you may wind up looking like you're wearing a homemade beanine.

The fabric is loose and very cheaply made, when you wear the beanie it looks better but still the looseness of the fabric around the forehead is extremely off putting and in no way worth the money paid for it.

What everyone says about the brim rolling down or flaring out unattractively is completely true. Shame, the style is nice until you try to wear it.

The sides roll up making it look old bum like yuck

No hem on the lip, has a weird edge that turns out and makes it look wrong.

I will return this hat, this is not a beanie unless you wear a size 10 hat.
