The adhesive is very sticky so make sure it's where you want it the first to you place it because you won't be able to move it. It puffs up a great deal, almost 2 inches. It's stayed in place for months & is still keeping water out.

This worked well. I had a little problem at first applying it... so take your time and maybe have someone to help. I got the job done, but it could have been easier. Happy to have found this product.

We had issues with bugs in our chicken coop and I needed something to seal off the little cracks that were left. This did a great job at making everything sealed and helped. Keep out some of the bugs. Very easy to use

This is a very good product! I use it to seal around the top of my shed doors, and it works perfectly. The amount expansion is very nice, and seals any gaps, even if they are different sizes along the door edge. I have always bought the medium quality seal strips from big box hardware stores, but have found a new source with this product! Well worth the money, and will buy again! My hope is now that the adhesive is long-term, but with other tapes it typically is not, when exposed to the elements regularly. If this occurs, I have found that a couple heavy duty staples along the tape will hold it in place.

I ordered the all purpose foam sealant tape to resolve expansion and separation in my garage. My door and window air conditioners had cracks to be filled. The tape did not do as much expansion as I wished. The tape side is best used on materials that are smooth as my plywood walls don’t work as well, obviously.

I was pretty impressed on the expansion properties and was NOT expecting it to do as well as it did. I used this on my outdoor metal shed, and it of course had drafts where I was unable to spray foam (the doors) so I used this to take care of that gap while not interrupting the use of the door, and its keeping it much better in there now since no wind creeps in! This is good stuff!

This looks like a great product. I thought I ordered it in plenty of time for our project of installing a window in our pole barn. Unfortunately, the window arrived and the project had to move ahead without this self-expanding sealant tape.I really want to open the package to examine the product but the installation guidelines state "only open materials for immediate use". The product will expand if unpackaged.At 80% compression the seal will be watertight. At 70% it will seal out flowing water; 68% air and sound; 18% heat, cold, and dust.The roll is 13.12 feet long. Good product for solving various infiltration issues. I am happy to have this on hand when needed for our next project.Rating is based on visual examination, well written instructions and other information provided on the packaging.

I love this foam sealant tape. It works really well in small spaces. I have an area on my enclosed deck where bugs could come through. I didn’t want to use spray foam on the area because it is a visible spot so I stuck this in the crack and it worked out great. I would definitely recommend this.
