This food is meant to supplement your mutts main food as a topper. The ingredients are some of the best I've seen in a long time.Chicken, chicken liver, and chicken gizzard lead the list, then comes all the fruits...bananas, strawberries, blueberries, apples, and cranberries. Then they throw in some pumpkin, spinach, beets, carrots, and squash. Then there's some vitamins and minerals. Wow, this freeze dried kibble is better than my own dinner last night.No hormones, no antibiotics. NOT made in China!As soon as I opened the package my trusty Amazon Canine Testing Team came running over. The smell was quite nice. I could see bits of strawberries, blueberries, and bananas all over. I usually try all my mutts food first, but the raw chicken part kept me at bay.Each tester got to sample each different bit. It was an amazing 12 paws up and longing looks for more. I plan on using this kibble for my smallest mutt, Chewbacca, who weighs in at a mighty 6 lbs. He was able to chew all the sized bits with no issues.All-in-all, an excellent kibble supplement. Top-notch ingredients and excellent taste, even for the finicky eater.

I always thought it was funny when I heard people say that their dogs liked something because I would think..... did the dog tell you? But I am now one of those people because my dog LOVES his Stella and chewy’s chicken! Brady is a 5lb Yorkie and this chicken is like a drug for him and it’s actually funny how he comes running if I even go near where it is lol

I have 2 over 50 lb dogs and 2 35-40 lb dogs. I tried this to make their high quality kibble a bit different and exciting. It took a couple of days for them to decide they liked the texture of freeze dried. BUT what they would not eat were the freeze dried blueberries 🫐. They would pick them out of the bowls and spit them outline a pill. Once they were just a bit wet the blueberries 🫐 would mark and stain everything they touched, including my light grey floor. I landed up picking as many of them as I could out before putting the food in their bowls to try and avoid a mess. I bought 4 bags of the kibble additive so this food did not make my repurchase list.What my pups did love was the beef heart. If that came in a lower cost kibble additive this company would most likely have a loyal customer. But for now no.

My dogs see the bag and go crazy! They love the chicken flavored freeze dried goodies! They go crazy for the blueberries too! Def will be purchasing more

A friend recommended this to me and my dogs love it. When my dogs are expecting they get really finicky and with breaking a piece of this over their dry food they gobble the food up in not time and want more. I thought it was costly for such a small bag untill I got it and realized I only need to crumble one over my maltese food. So they bag has gone a long ways!

I wonder why Stella and Chewy bothered to include an actual scoop in this 3.25 oz. package of Lil’ Superblends. Directions say to add one scoop into your pet’s daily kibble (one scoop for dogs up to 20 lbs; two scoops for dogs 21 to 40 lbs). There’s only one problem—there’s only six scoops in the bag! What I didn’t see before ordering was the little blurb on the package’s front that says there are seven scoops per bag. I would have reconsidered getting anything that lasts about a week, but even worse, my bag only contains six level scoops, unless the company is counting the empty scoop as the seventh.Yes, our dogs like this meal mixer, and it’s chock-full of quality ingredients, but buying premium kibble as well as this extra boost of nutrition can get pretty expensive very quickly. If our dogs were in poor health, as Chewy was (the shelter dog whose story is included on the package), I might be able to justify the added cost. Included is a photo showing just how much freeze-dried raw food comes in the 3.25 oz. bag. This very small size is probably the best way to test if it's right for your pet, but I still think the cost per quantity is excessive.

but sprinkle some of Stella and Chewys on top of her food and she loves it. Recommended by a friend who has a picky eater as well. Been a life saver and love the ingredients in it - EXCELLENT PRODUCT. Set it up so Amazon automatically sends 2 packages per month, easy peszy.

Our fur baby is a very picky eater, but enjoys this freeze dried food.

Pup likes more eat time I feed it. Berries and fruit are actually separate berries and chunks which my dog sorts through and leaves. Be better if was mushed together then dried. Comes with a scoop!
