I definitely needed some new bras when my old ones were so stretched out in the straps that they wouldn't hold me up well enough no matter how much I tightened them. I used to buy expensive bras but I wanted to look for less expensive options that are still good quality. I've seen Playtex bras in the stores for many years and figured I would check them out. I tried out a different Playtex bra which I didn't like as much so I decided to try this one. I love it so much I ended up purchasing seven of them in different colors!This Playtex bra is exactly the bra I wanted! It is a balconette style, which is perfect if you have shirts that might dip down a bit so you shouldn't have to worry about showing off the bra cups. It has underwire that helps to keep the girls in place and so far, it feels very comfortable. I haven't had any problems with it popping out. The straps and cups are lightly padded, which is just what I wanted. I don't like bras that are heavily padded because I am a 36D and I don't need to add any more bulk on top. It has a triple-hook closure with three hooks for each of the three sizes for a total of nine hooks. The straps are adjustable and the back of the bra seems very breathable and looks like it is made of mesh. This bra is made of a mixture of nylon, spandex, polyester, cotton, and polyurethane foam. Washing instructions say to hand wash cold and line dry. I always throw hand wash items in a lingerie bag in the washing machine, line dry them and I've never had a problem. I've washed these bras a number of times like this and they still are in great condition. These bras are made in Indonesia.As I said, I initially purchased one of these bras and loved it so much, I ordered a total of six more! I have nude, nude jacquard, gentle peach rose jacquard, two mother-of-pearl jacquard, and two black jacquard. I love the print on the latter two colors because it looks like flower petals to me. I love to have black bras for wearing under darker shirts but I also like the light-colored bras for wearing under lighter-colored shirts. I especially love the mother-of-pearl color because it's more of an ivory or bone color and is softer than white but lighter than nude. I loved it so much I bought two of that color!I find these bras very comfortable to wear all day. The underwire is very comfortable and hasn't bothered me at all but I will update this review if that changes. The material is soft and comfortable and supports me well so I don't feel droopy. My old bras had lost their elasticity and I looked like I was sagging but now, I'm perkier and feel more comfortable too. I've always been a 36D and I purchased 36D in these bras which fit perfectly so I feel these bras fit true to size.I love these bras and am glad I finally decided to purchase some new ones! They are comfortable, come in a variety of colors and prints, and are affordable so you can replace all of your old bras if you need to, which is what I did. As long as these bras hold up for a reasonable amount of time, I will continue to purchase them. I will update this review if anything happens to alter my opinion. If you like the lightly-padded, balconette style and don't feel like going to a store to try them on, I highly recommend this bra and to order your regular size!

I found this too snug and not comfortable

I’m a 34DD and have had trouble getting bras with enough support. These lasted longer than most, and I wish they still carried some of the other patterns. It does have padding, but a good trade for me to have the support without the headaches and neck tension.

I ordered two bras from this vendor and both fit snug. Not very comfortable.

I've been buying Playtex Bras for a few years now and I'm satisfied with most. They fit well and are extremely comfortable, for me at least. Top quality...if washed properly will last for years. I put my bras in delicate bags before putting them in the wash and I have never had any problem; like tears or wire coming out.

I really wish I could give this bra AND the customer service negative stars. What a horrible experience this has been. Please BEWARE of this seller. I bought this bra in a 40D based on their size chart provided. I actually ordered 3 bras all from different sellers that same day. All the bras I ordered were a 40D based on the size charts from each separate seller. The other 2 fit perfect but this Playtex bra was extremely tight, the straps were hard, and band didn’t stretch at all and the cups were too big. I couldn’t believe how tight this bra was and that the band didn’t stretch at all. I tried it on for all of 5 seconds and said no way. I started a return on Amazon and I selected that this bra didn’t fit. It said for me to contact the seller, which I did. The seller told me that their size chart is correct and they will not refund for the wrong size. I told him that I had measured myself based on their own size chart and it was off by quite a bit. The seller again said they wouldn’t do anything. I spoke with Amazon directly and they said they’d be sending me a return label but the seller charges for return shipping. I said that’s BS because none of this was my fault, their size chart is inaccurate. I packaged up the bra and returned it. I received a refund notification saying the most ludicrous thing ever. So, I paid $19.99 for this bra. The seller made me pay return shipping AND they I charged me $19.99 for a restocking fee! So a 100% restocking fee. Amazon gave me $2.35 back for shipping. I was outraged! I called Amazon again and explained that the seller charged me a 100% restocking fee. The representative said she’d be refunding my purchase and filing a complaint against this seller to remove them from Amazon. Save your money and your stress. DO NOT buy anything from this seller!

It's a comfortable wire bra.

I have worn these bras for many many years. I used to get them at Kohl’s-they always had a great selection and the prices were great. I was also able to find them at the Playtex outlet store near me, but it seems they are not carried in stores any longer-I have looked all over! I resolved that I needed to purchase a different brand and went to a privately owned bra store-spent a lot of money for 4 bras which are non-refundable and really don’t fit quite right.Getting ready for a trip, I was having difficulty packing, knowing that the bras I have to wear are nearing the end of their life, with no possibility for replacement. On a whim, I searched Amazon-why didn’t I look here sooner?? They had exactly what I needed, and the order came the next day. I tried them on, perfect!!! Hurried up and ordered more so I can take them on vacation with me-now the girls can be happy too!! I hope I will be able to find them here for a long time to come-

Bottom of cups didn't slide up when I raised my arms above me head, so that was a great start. Thick bands provide comfort and sit far enough apart on shoulders to not show when wearing wide neck tops. I was surprised by how comfortable it was with so much push-up power! It created a lot of cleavage without feeling bulky in the padding. I ordered my usual size and was pleased that it fit as expected. The only thing I didn't like was the lace trim. It looks pretty, and doesn't impact the comfort, but my bra had a small area of lace that bunched together creating a little nipple look on the top line of the bra. Actually, I don't care for lacy trims at all, because I don't want the texture to show through thin tops, so I plan to remove it - fortunately the stitches look well enough aligned that it should be easy enough to remove. Overall, I am happier with this purchase than I expected, and would consider purchasing this again in the future - but it will take me a while to get used to the new location and volume of my cleavage (used to saggy sports bras). Would recommend for someone that is looking for a comfortable and supportive bra to showcase their assets.

Nice bra overall.Comfy, nice looking, but made a bit large. My husband calls it my "Wonder Woman" bra, and honestly I could wear it as part of a Wonder Woman costume.I typically wear a 38 DD, but I ordered that size and the cup is a bit large on me. Still wearable, but I think a D would have been better.

This is one of my favourite bras. It provides the right shape - not too separated, not squished together and right amount of protruding straight out (not flattening). It’s comfortable and supportive and offers full coverage but can also show a tiny bit of cleavage.

This is my first try at what I thought would be a supportive “old lady bra”. I am pleasantly surprised at how sexy and perfectly this bra fits my 36DD frame. It sits nicely against your breast bone. I think I will wear this a few days to be sure but I think I’d order another in lighter color.
