Missing piece to the puzzle.
1. Talk and show this to your pediatrician, allergist, and pediatric dermatologist. They may not know about this product.2. Keep up with it daily, don’t give up. Took 3 boxes, roughly 3.5 months of using before we saw serious results that stuck.3. Take before and after pictures cause WE FORGOT!4. If your child is in diapers or potty training. Be prepared for some Kinetic-moonsand-Jurassic park piles of strange odd smelling poo. (Means it’s working)5. Remember, eczema can’t be cured, but only managed. Our then 9 month old developed a severe food allergy that was directly linked to her skin. As we were transitioning her off of breast milk, and having the normal introductory foods and liquids. These foods she’d consume would lash out to her skin it would break out into some fierce rash, that turned into eczema. Atopic dermatitis. We learned only through drawing blood that she was allergic to. Eggs, dairy, shellfish, nuts, soy, and cat/dog dander. The dermatologist stated that her eczema was too severe that she wouldn’t tolerate a skin test or allergy skin test, that the best they could do was a CBC to see what markers would pop up for her allergies. We spent the next 1.5 years changing up diets, air purifiers, every humidifier, regulating foods, extensive creams, the whole skin sections at the stores, all the derm tested safe stuff. several different steroid prescribed options, wraps, homeopathic ways, goat milks, scratch sleeves and mittens, full blown body suites, to bathe or not bathe, to add bleach or not to add bleach?? Sleepless nights, dried skin flaky skin everywhere, blood from itching. I’m talking the itch while she slept, the crying and moaning from the red gashes, boo boos everywhere all in eczema’s favorite places ankles, wrists, neck, arms, legs, stomach, and foot. She couldn’t be around water because her skin was so bad she’d scream because of the pain/stinging. We were so scared of permanent scarring and skin damage for now 2 year old. Ever see a toddler in onesie/pajama all day during a Kansas heat? she was for a straight year and a half. The age was and still hard for her to understand why she’s itchy, how to stop, the self-realization of cause and effect just isn’t there yet. Most eczema medications or shots are prescription not approved for anyone of 10 or younger, things were looking dim for us. We thought as parents how can and will she have a normal anything, that our only option was to wait til she was approved for these prescribed medications that were mainly for adults or adolescents. The most ironic part of it all she is a ferocious eater loves foods, all the foods she can’t have and all the foods she can have. Don’t matter she eats it and loves it.At her 23 month check up we finally had the nerve to ask our pediatrician about florajen. He hadn’t heard of it, and told us to order it, as he was going to do his part of research. He called later to approve. What I can say is mentioned above in number points, but mostly. Ezcema can’t be cured but only managed. THIS IS HOW YOU GONNA MANAGE IT!!!It seems after 3 months of consistent florajen, regular baths of baby dove, diet changes, and accepting use of daily sheer applied Triamcinolone+ mupirocin+ aquaphor. Her skin has finally broke the cycle of eczema it literally cleared up earlier last week. This felt overnight her skin just healed, no more cracks, no more blisters, no more rash, no more random hot dry spots. We have it down to a pretty good routine, to where we haven’t been giving the florajen daily but every other day or when she’s consumed something that will make her skin react. It is then we announce it to each other out loud in the kitchen as we are prepping her chocolate oatmilk with florajen to be prepared for the next diaper, the poo description above. Please give this product a try and stick with it if able. It was a serious game changer to our now 2 and half year olds life and livelihood.I’d be more than happy to personally connect with anyone if they have questions. That’s how thankful I am for florajen.

My skin in calmer than it has been in years
I have severe eczema on my hands (one hand is much worse than the other) – on my fingers, my wrist, the side of my hand. It cracks open and bleeds regularly, to the point that I can’t clap or even straighten my fingers without bleeding. It’s extremely painful all the time. As I’ve aged, it’s only progressively gotten worse and I’ve tried :everything:. I use all the dermatologist recommended lotions/creams, all the dermatologist recommended soaps, shampoos, etc. Nothing clears it up.This probiotic has helped me more over the last few months more than anything else I’ve ever tried. My hands are not clear; this is not a miracle worker. HOWEVER, I currently don’t have any open wounds on my hand for the first time in probably about 3 years. It doesn’t hurt to wash my hands. So while it hasn’t completely fixed the problem, it has increased my daily quality of life tremendously. For that, I’m so grateful. Unless something better comes along one day, I will continue to be a loyal consumer.

Well, Useless to Me
Nothing about this said Wheat when I bought it. I'm Celiac. So it's utterly worthless to me! Could do much more harm than good.Edited -- went back and gave it 3 stars to be fair. It has Maltodextrin in it, which is manufactured, in part, with wheat. But it's gluten free so I'm going to give it a go and see if I react. But it would help for others that are either allergic to wheat or celiac (like me) to know in advance of buying it. I might upgrade my review if it works for me.

Most effective thing I've tried
Update: Skinesa is a replacement for this discontinued product.I am a 50 year old woman who has struggled with eczema my whole life. I have tried various skin treatments, diet changes, even meditation. Those of us who don't find a solution are willing to try anything, no? I have been taking Florajen Eczema for a year now, and have never had fewer issues. It's not a cure for me, but I definitely would consider it under control. It took two boxes for me to be sure there were effects, and probably four months to get to full effectiveness, but it just takes a while for the skin to heal too. Now I don't know what I would do without it.

Do not buy or use UNLESS under doctors supervision
My 12 yr old daughter contracted a bad allergic reaction after 2 weeks of constant use. Her eczema became 10x worse. Her eczema was inflamed and face puffy and swollen to the point she did not look like herself. Thank God she did not suffer any major discomfort. DO NOT BUY THIS UNLESS YOU ARE UNDER DOCTORS SUPERVISION. What i thought to be a harmless probiotic became my worse nightmare for my child’s skin health. Now she is taking a steroid medication for the next 5 days to heal the damaged from this probiotic.

Wow!
I haven’t had an eczema outbreak in years, but recently had a patch on my elbow…then that started to go away with topical ointments and another sprang up on my forearm…then my wrist. They just wouldn’t stop-for weeks. I took this product- so far for 2 days, and poof- skin already is less itchy, less bumpy and looks about 50% better. Wow.
