The Tru-Ball TRUN-BK Tru Nok is engineered to maintain loop position behind the arrow, effectively eliminating nock spin and preventing un-nocking at let-down. Its innovative 'C' loop radius design ensures a safe release, making it ideal for use with both rope and regular caliper jaw releases, and is compatible with standard nocks.

Punch in the face or cut your wrist?
It is what it is. A little noisy and left a nice gouge in my forearm when the string broke on me. It was my fault. Make sure you don't get the strands in a pinch and let them get out of the groove where the string is supposed to go, or else you might damage your string and have to explain why you didn't just use a string like I had to. I've also knocked myself out when my string came loose on me. No one said beinrg a man was easy. There was a scar there but I heal like a man

Nice permanent nock loop.
Works great as a permanent nock loop. I'm not certain if it will accelerate string wear, but so far it doesn't seem to have caused any damage. It's certainly well made. I put a drop of the blue Locktite on the screws to be certain they didn't come loose, after I was certain it was positioned properly.

Awsome thing
If you ever buy anything for your bow, buy this! Recrve, longbow, compound, what ever. I have a bad right hand and have to use a release on my bows. I no longer tie nocks, use quick nocks, or any of that. This thing put 0 wear and tear on the bow string. Everytime I change a sight, rest, or even a different bow, I just bolt this thing on or just move it to where I need it. I can't say enough good things about this little gadget. Ive got a thousand draws a nd shots on it and it has never moved, scratched, bent, anything! I am going to buy one for every bow I own and a couple extra just in case I pick up a new bow. Never tie a D loop again! Never set a nock point again! Its that reliable. You will love it, I promise. And I manage restaurants lol. I have nothing to do with the company or ppl or anything like that. But I shoot every day before or after work and this thing rocks. Thanks for reading......Will

WARNING Not worth the risk
Seemed like it would be a convenient product that would make my bow set-up with a new string easier. Problem is the serving on my brand new bow string was too thin for the Tru Nok. Problem is there is ZERO warning or indication that serving diameter is something that needs to be checked. I installed the Tru Nok and tightened it all the way down and by all appearances it was good to go. But when put under load on a draw board half way to full draw it slid up the bowstring pulling the serving and causing my bow to derail and bend a cam. Ruined my bow. I immediately double checked the packaging to see if there was something I missed and that it was my fault for failing to follow instructions; IT WAS NOT MY FAULT. Product was installed correctly and fully seated on bow string and there was no warning or any indication that I needed to check serving diameter for product to properly function. Serving was just narrow enough for the Tru Nok to not slide initially but then come loose under load. Ruined my bow by trying to circumvent the need to tie on a D-loop. A lot of risk in using this product for very little reward. If you're reading this, it's not worth it.

I've read a lot of reviews concerning this type of D Loop..
I've read a lot of reviews concerning this type of D loop from "making noise", "instructors saying it slows the speed of the arrow" and "it pinches or smashes the string". I installed the T.R.U. Nock on a bow and tested it. There was absolutely no induced noise, the speed was unaffected (speed recorded using a Pro Chronograph) and it doesn't pinch or smash the string. The only thing that needs to be tested is the position of the T.R.U. Nock using the old fashion paper test.UPDATE: Sep 01, 2015. Yes. I'm still using the nock. Works great and like new after hundreds of shots and still mounted on the same string ( no wear or slip ). Some reviewers say it bends after awhile. Not so. They need to check their form and style, and I'll bet they are twisting their hand during their draw.

Easy loop.
I love these things. For me, it’s just easier to screw these on than to made my own d loop. I’ve never, ever, ever had a problem out of these. They make a great product. I use them on all my bows. It’s just a preference thing. Yes, they’re a little higher than a d loop. But for me that’s ok. I know they’ll last forever and they’re easy to install. Very reliable. Don’t know why I don’t see more people using them.

Seems to work fine then a little loose on youth bows
Seems to work fine then a little loose on youth bows. Should be fine on any adult bow seems to me to be made pretty well

Good, but spacing is too narrow for some arrow nocks
This nock worked well except you should be aware that it doesn't work for all arrows. I have several bowfishing arrows (which is the main use for my bow) that don't work with the TRU Nok because it's so narrow. The arrow nocks are too wide and therefore won't fit in the narrow space provided by the TRU Nok. For the rest of my arrows, the TRU Nok worked great. I just wish it were 2-3mm wider at the narrow spot so that all of my arrow nocks could fit.
