Best for over easy eggs
This is my favorite tool for over easy eggs. It is nice and thin and you can slide under an egg easily and flip it without breaking the yolk. I also use it for grilled cheese sandwiches. Great for small delicate items you are frying. Be sure to hand wash. The dishwasher will warp it.

Good Flipper
Almost every morning, cook a one egg omelette. First - fry some onions, bacon pieces (buy a pound, cook it, break it up, store it in a plastic baggy), sometimes green peppers, sometimes mushrooms. Beat the egg....add a little milk....beat some more....poor mix carefully over the fried stuff to get an even thickness layer....when the egg layer gets a little firm, I insert the flipper under the egg, tilt/rotate the pan, and let the uncooked egg mix spill on to the bottom. After the egg mix firms up....carefully insert the flipper underneath....the flipper is a little flimsy and perhaps slightly undersized...lift the pan and give a little wrist action to give the firm egg mix a little momentum, and flip using the flipper. Sprinkle some cheese over the egg mix and fold the egg mix in half using the flipper. Flip the folded egg mix again with the flipper....after waiting for cheese to melt...but don't want the omelette over cooked. Slide omelette on to plate. Clean the frying pan and the flipper. Food tends to stick to the flipper....but comes off with a little hand scrubbing per the product directions. Eat the egg, while usually reading the bible, usually with a little yogurt, sometimes a banana or a single slice of toast with strawberry jelly. What else is there to say? Its a good $5 flipper. Probably buy one once a year because the flipper seems a little beat up after a month of use.

I Don't Get the Love For This Thing.
I purchased this based on a whim and overwhelmingly positive reviews. I'm not a grouchy person...I hate writing grouchy reviews...but I really don't get the love for it.Pros:- I'm not sure. The tip of the spatula is thin, so I guess that makes it easy to get under eggs?- My daughter loves using it in her play kitchen, which is where it has found a permanant home.- It's only $5, so it's not an outrageously priced play kitchen spatula for the kiddos.Cons:- It's tiny, and the handle is laughably short. It requires that you hold the egg part of the handle with your fingers, leaving no support in your palm.- Egg protein sticks to the nylon surface. This makes for a clumsy flip and broken yolks. It also makes it hard to divide eggs while cooking.- Did I mention that it's tiny? So tiny that you can barely get the tip of the spatula all the way under the yolk. This leads to more yolk breakage. The bend in the spatula leads me to believe that they want you to flip the egg away from you in an awkward motion. Ergonomically, it's more natural to slide a spatula all the way under an egg and flip sideways. You can't really do that with this spatula.- It's much odder looking in person. The small size and the handle/egg thing are more laughable than cute. I read a review stating that the person loves to display it on their wall. To each his/her own, I guess. My 2 year old definitley likes it, so who am I to judge?- It's small. I know...again! It's so small that we can't store it in our countertop utensil bin. It falls to the bottom and becomes barely visible.Just buy a nice nonstick silicone spatula/turner with a proper handle instead. It will do many things well, instead of one thing poorly.Gonna go back to my life now and stop putting so much time and energy into reviewing egg spatulas on a website.

Ok for an egg spatula but that is it.
I gave this 3 stars because it works ok as an egg spatula, which that is what it is for, but don't count on it doing the job for other foods. I love the size, but it's very flimsy and doesn't do well on other foods, not even to flip a grilled cheese sandwich! Holding up well in the dishwasher. Wish I had chosen another spatula instead of this one. Will not buy another one. Minimal use for the price in my opinion.
