Hi, I’m tired of going to the big box stores and having to spend an hour reading the specs and fine print on light bulbs! So one of my favorite things about buying from Amazon is that if I’ve bought once before, I can usually look it up and buy it again. Every time I go to the big box stores for light bulbs, they never have the ones I’ve bought before?? So in many of our light fixtures, the bulbs are dying (it’s been 20+ years and they’re all old filament types and they’re done! So I’m replacing them with led types! I bought a 6 pack of ceiling fan from Amazon making sure they’re frosted, and led based, and soft white, daylight type, and that they’re dimmable, and that they’re at least 350-400 lumens. The new ones burn 4W each, the old ones were 40W x3 or 120W!! So these are nice to look at, way brighter and use way less electricity! I have most of my ceiling fans on dimmers to keep the power down but now I can dial in the brightness I want. These bulbs produce at least 20% more light each and I am really happy! So I just ordered another 6 pack to use in my guest bedroom remodel activity to replace the harsh, non frosted ones that came with the ceiling fan for that room! I can’t wait to change to these new led bulbs to stop the “harsh” comments I’ve gotten up to now! So another set on order, I’ll get them tomorrow, no worries, no taking them back and exchanging them with the trial and error routine! Thank you Amazon!!Dave Smith

I ordered these because all soft whites are a 2700 color and a bit yellowish, these are a better looking, brighter light and not as harsh as 5000 , daylight bulbs. Have bought these 3 times now and they are perfect. Bulb size is a little smaller than an A19 which is what I need.

These are the first LED bulbs I've purchased that do not flicker when you first turn them on. That said, I wish the warm white had a softer, more golden tone when dimmed. I miss the old incandescents! Maybe technology will one day be able to create the same serene effect in LED lighting.

I purchased the bulbs for their sizing to fit into ceiling fan lights, their dimmability, and their color rendition. Thus far, they hit all requirements. The color rendition to the incandescent bulbs they are replacing is very close; you really have to pay attention to see the difference. As the incandescent bulbs burn out, I will definitely be buying more.

Most ceiling fans today are configured with an internal fuse. I hate this because sometimes the lights just aren't bright enough. If you pick a regular light bulb rated at 60w, it will probably blow the internal fuse in which case you have to replace the fan. This has happened to me.These bulbs are low wattage and are very bright. The bad side is lumens start degrading over time. I usually replace all bulbs on the ceiling fan at one time.I'm very happy with these bulbs.

I chose these light bulbs because according to the description they are supposed to be bright and work without flickering.They are bright. I love the amount of light they emit. They do not flicker at all. They dim well with my remote control. FYI I have older ceiling fans but these worked better than any others I have used. I recommend them.

So far these seem fine, replaced some bulbs in my ceiling fan that went bad. Th color temp descriptions are wrong on the product listing. Before becoming a photographer I was confused about color temperatures but I decided to order anyway thinking somehow I was wrong about the color of the light from the bulbs. I ordered the 3000k hoping it was going to be more toward the yellow “warm” spectrum.Nope! I was right. Essentially for the 3000k I ordered it’s like bright daylight. For the rest of you, the lower the kelvin (k number) the more harsh white/blue it is. The warmer (more yellow) is a higher number. The 3000 is too “daylight” and I wanted something more warm (soft white) for the bedroom. I may try to order a higher number and return the 3000k I got. I can’t speak to the longevity yet, we just got them.
