While the book is probably okay for folks with strong eyesight (the text is very fine-print and difficult to read - the topology diagrams are merely copy paste from PDF and impossible to interprete as the quality is so poor).The content; merely copy / paste from the author's doctorate -thesis , possibly it will serve me "well" in the future as a reference guide but this stuff can be found FOC on Google. Waste of my money really - sorry to say.

Sinceramente non lo letto tutto, ma pensavo e credevo che il libro era un pò più completo che spiegasse bene le basi del 61850, invece fa solo dei test su delle protezioni Areva.

Mr Patel is to be congratulated on the content of this booklet - this is a very good overview of IEC 61850 for protection engineering practitioners. My only criticism is that the A5 printed format hugely detracts from its readability particularly for anyone without perfect vision, and A4 format should be strongly considered. Many Figures and Tables are unreadable to me in A5 format, and I have no trouble reading normal printed books
