My diesel heater mounted the plastic.
Was vary surprised when 2 of the 4 heater vents I purchased melted to the point they just fell out of the hole I drilled for them.Maybe I put them to close (10 inches) to the diesel heater unit? The ones that where over 5 feet away from the heater work as expected and as advertised. But you would think, being a heater vent they would not melt at any temperature a Diesel heater could put out. This is not a bad review just a heads up that you will need to keep these at least 3 feet or more away from your heating unit when installing them or they may melt on you.

Exactly what I needed

Good fit, better than stock
Bought these based on a previous review that said these would fit a Miata, and I can confirm that they do! They needed to be trimmed to fit into the center vent holes though (see 2nd pic). Better than the oem eyeball vents, and more than half the price of Eclipse or Commander vents!A couple of reviews mentioned these melted with heat which is a little concerning but I rarely direct my air to the upper vents when using the heater, so hopefully they hold up fine for me.

Not heat tolerant.
Vents do not holdup to heat. Installed with diesel parking heater and the adjustable vent portion distorted first use.

Worked for my work Hostler
Not made for a Kalmar hostler but if you still have the base part you can install them just just pull out the base part and slide this in behind it and then screw in the vent holds together perfectly

Fits 99 NB Mazda Miata MX-5
Fits the NB miata (99-05) just fine. Great replacement for the saggy OEM eyeball vents.

They looked very nice after getting mounted it dash, but fell apart during the first use. Would not recommend
