A fun spin without losing facts for little minds
I read this to my three boys-all under 7. They love the rhymes and appreciate that King Mansa Musa was a real person. I appreciate the book was written in relative language for a child, but did not loose historical facts. My boys know that King Musa lived, he was from Mali and he built a school the benefited the masses.

Educational & Fun
I love that Kunda Kids have created books that tell stories of African heros. Unfortunately there aren't many children's books out there about these historical figures. Mansa Musa is so inspiring, I think that this would be a great book for a child of any background to read! I also love the blurb on the first page giving a bit of information about the real-life Mansa Musa.

A fun and inspiring read for kids!
I read this book to my nephew who really enjoyed it- so much so I had to read it to him again! The book is charming, heartwarming and teaches the importance of kindness and sharing- all whilst being a fun read all round! I would definitely recommend this book to children of all ages as it is an enjoyable read for everyone.

Excellent childrens book
I absolutely loved this book as African legends like Mansa Musa don’t get enough credit in history, let alone in children’s book! Brilliant interpretation of our rich history and enjoyable to read to my son! I even bought a couple for my nephews.

High quality prints and lovely story
The high quality and details of the prints make the book exciting to read for kids. I am able to spend time on each page and explain different aspects of the scenes to my lil nephew. The story is also very interesting and my nephew enjoyed it every time we read the book. Easily a 5-star book.
