Arrived quickly and in perfect condition
I bought this for my 7 year old son who has never done any type of logic exercises before. The book started out very easy and is growing in difficulty as it progresses. There haven't been any exercises that have really been "hard" for him, but he is at the upper range of the intended audience. He has been very successful using the book independently, and that was my goal in ordering it. For us, it's been the perfect introduction to logic.

GREAT BRAIN FOOD
This book is a fabulous, fun resource to get kids thinking about patterns, analogies, deductive reasoning... topics critical to higher order thinking that aren't commonly covered in school but appear in a lot of placement tests. I have a 5 and 3 year old who both love tackling the fun "puzzles" and "games" in this book and feel so proud when they get the answers right! I love these books so much that I bought all 3 versions and we try to do 1-2 activities each night with bedtime reading. They remind me of the brainteasers my mom used with me when I was young.

Great, But...
Some months after finishing the thoroughly enjoyable Volume 2 of Lollipop Logic, I bought this book for my five-year-old, who promptly devoured it. The series as a whole is a fun, easy, and visually appealing introduction to logic. All the books feature different types of logic problems, and are not cumulative, so you can go in any order. I recommend the series to anyone with a curious pre-literate or newly literate youngster with a fondness for workbooks and puzzles. This book is not without its flaws, however:-- Most of the problems in the "Deduction" section followed the same, highly predictable structure. After a while, I found my daughter was finding the solution based on the pattern instead of actually having to deduce anything.-- The "Critical Analysis" problems, while entertaining, are also ambiguous and lend themselves to more than one answer. Several times, my daughter came upon an appropriate solution that wasn't the one featured in the book. It would be nicer if there was only one correct answer. This isn't a criticism exactly, more of an FYI for people who might be in our same boat: For the most part, the contents of the book seemed a bit too easy and required little thought on my daughter's behalf. While she loved doing the book, it felt like she had "aged out" of the series since doing Volume 2. We are currently working through Prufrock Publishing's PRIMARY LOGIC book which, while less visually appealing, and considerably wordier, seems to be appropriately stimulating - and just as popular as the Lollipop series.Despite these issues, I am fond of the series and would recommend it to parents of kids at the right developmental stage.

Lollipop Logic
This product is wonderful for teaching very young kids to think logically. The exercises are fun and challenging. I use these books with my grandchildren. The activities in this booklet will help your child to be able feel confident when facing similar activities at school.

GREAT BOOK!
I am so happy to have the lollipop Logic series 1-3. It was totally a great buy, and my daughter loves them. She rushed home today and the first thing she wanted to do was to work in the book. Thank you. Not so colorful on the inside but very straightforward . I will recommend it to my friends.

My daughter and I love these books. They make you THINK rather than just do tasks. Our favorite workbook out there.

Loved it, would recommend it
It was clear, concise and easy to use. My daughter learned a lot from the lollipop books to help her to prepare for the test.
