The End of Guilt: Realizing Your Innocence through A Course in Miracles Paperback – March 19, 2013

The End of Guilt is a very enlightening read along with A Course in Miracles. Easy to read and right to the points,this book is well worth the time. Enjoy.

I have still struggled with guilt, even after many months of direct study of the Course (and years and years of talking and reading about via Marianne W., Gary R, etc). I felt like "I can't start yet, because of this thing I did. It's just too big. I'm not worthy of peace."So I bought this book...after I kept feeling a bit of a tug to do so. I had committed to reading the Text and only the Text until completed...but my Inner Voice was telling me I needed a bit of a supplement. I needed to hear in plainer language and in less abstract terms what this forgiveness stuff was really about and how to apply it practically.This book has achieved that. In reading the summary, I thought, "I'll just skip all the parts about other religions and the history of guilt.." but I found it was so digestible and useful, I read those parts too. I'm almost finished (bought it this morning!) and I had to come out here and be the first to review it.

The numerous books I have read on reincarnation and karma have left me with the fear that I would have to be reborn again and again to atone for my sins and learn some lessons even though I have been practicing forgiveness and unconditional love for some time now. Spiritual growth is my main goal in life and I have been generally happy lately but, at times, have felt remorseful about the unloving things I have said and done in the course of my life out of ignorance and stupidity, and I feared punishment (karma).As I was passing off my guilt feelings to the Holy Spirit, as suggested in the book, I spontaneously saw myself asking God the Father for forgiveness with great sincerity and instantly receiving unconditional love and acceptance. It was a wonderful experience!I am deeply grateful to Edwin Navarro for writing this book. It is a godsend!

This book follows nicely from his previous book “It’s All Mind.” In this book, Edwin Navarro provides four scenarios and how each individual within the scenario responds to their guilt , which are based on our social norms. He then provides the reader key philosophical points found within A Course in Miracles and reintroduces the four scenarios previously given. From my observation, the guilt results presented within the Course’ are by far more advantageous. I strongly recommend this book along with his other book, It’s All Mind. You will enjoy them both!Note: Edwin Navarro purposeful keeps his book prices low so that a greater audience can be reached so that they can instill the Course principles within their life. It is just freeing to realize that there can be an end to guilt and that it is not at all necessary! This book is a keeper especially for me since I facilitate A Course In Miracle classes. The book first defines guilt and then explains a brief history of guilt in all the world religions. That chapter alone is a very valuable outline of different religions. The book also explains the many places and people in our lives that guilt comes from in The Rules-Based Life chapter. And then it tells us how to release guilt using the principle of forgiveness based on A Course In Miracles definition of forgiveness. A book for everyone!

In my 37 years of full-time Ministry I have always looked for self-help books for myself, and those I had been, or was in the process of counseling. Having been placed in an orphanage by parents who did not want me, then foster home after foster home, a veteran of the war in Vietnam,. and all the guilt that goes along with that, I needed reference books that a layman could read without stumbling through it. "The End of Guilt," is written in that style. Not only has it been a blessing to me, but I know it will bless others who deal with guilt generated mainly from the "Ego Ideal." Rev. (ret.) Kenneth B. The End of Guilt does an excellent job of clarifying deep core teachings from A Course In Miracles. I have been a student of The Course for many years, and as such pretty well understand the material and how to apply it in daily life albeit not always effectively. The book was helpful for me in many ways. That said, I think one will need to at least be fairly familiar with The Course to be able to get the most from this book.

I carry a lot of guilt and I've been curious about 'A Course in Miracles' for a while, so I liked when I found this book, thinking it would combine the two. I liked the first couple of chapters on guilt, especially how the guilty are always thinking "if only". That hit home with me. Unfortunately, the later chapters explaining the "how to forgive" practice reminded me of the 12-step advice to turn over your upsets to your Higher Power. I was expecting something more than this, so I was disappointed. Perhaps, I'll read this book again in the future and gain more insight after working my 12-step program.

Rarely have I come across such a lucid, well-written and insightful book as No More Guilt. Having recently begun The Course, I have struggled with even some of the basic concepts and premise. This wonderful book explains them so clearly and beautifully, with many a-ha moments. I would highly recommend this book and thank Mr Navarro for sharing his knowledge. I will be exploring more of his work.

the message of ACIM made incredibly simple and easy to understand. Although ACIM text and workbook should certainly be read and followed along with this book.

I can honestly say I have been looking for this book all my life I always had a sneaking suspicion that all was not right and guilt and fear ruled my life with very little let up I now have been given the tools to let go and become what I always was pure love I thank you.
