I got some authentic Vietnamese Coffee from the same brand Nguyen and it's so easy to make delicious and strong coffee with this Phin (filter). Although the material may seem a little thin and flimsy, it is the original filter and quality.

Its a great product, good quality . If you like drip coffee must buy.

The first thing me I laid eyes on this I was ready to return it. Looked way too small to satiate my coffee cravings. Given that most instructions involved talk about leaving the device alone for 7-8 minutes for it to make a cup, I also thought so much of time for just one cup?Once I tried it, my opinion changed.It makes an almost complete cup of coffee and the decoction itself is pretty strong and flavorful. What's more, it just took me 5 minutes to get it ready. It's easy to use (like South Indian) and easy to clean and store. I have tried this with fine grind and I suspect it was too fine as some coffee made its way into the bottom of the cup too. Next time, I will try with slightly coarser option.All in all, a very good addition to my coffee making arsenal.

Very effective and good for two cups of coffee

It's just like the normal South Indian filter coffee makers available in brass and good quality thick stainless steel at a lesser cost than this. The quality of the steel is medium and is very light in weight. If you add the quantity they suggest, the coffee will be much strong and may taste little bitter. If you keep the bottom plate over the cup perfectly, it won't drip but will flow out along the sides due to air lock, you have to leave some gap for aeration. I prefer the normal South Indian coffee filter to this.

I don't know whether it makes good coffee or not. The fragile looking item is made of a very thin sheet of stainless steel. Not a durable for a long. Certainly not worth Rs.500.

I had Vietnamese iced coffee for the first time a month ago and I was hooked! I did some research on how to make it at home and IMMEDIATELY purchased this one and have been making my own Vietnamese iced coffee ever since. It's super simple to use and very convenient. Clean up is not a big deal and is no hassle. My first two times using it I did get some grounds in my coffee but that can be fixed by adding an additional paper filter if needed. Overall, I recommend this one - enjoy your coffee!

Works as it should! I bought 2.I've had both aluminum and stainless pots like this before. The aluminum one eventually bent, then broke. And the off-brand stainless pot I had, would overflow all the time because the holes were too small. This product is exactly right. I reckon it's because it's from the brand that actually makes the coffee.
