We got these cables for a trip to watch the eclipse and knew we had a couple long layovers. These cables are light but sturdy. Just run them through your luggage handles and attach any small lock to an airport chair. They are a sufficient deterrent and allow you to doze off without worries of loosing your luggage.

Perfect for Goldwing helmet lock
These cables work for securing helmets and other gear to a Honda Gold Wing using the helmet lock. Snug fit over the lock bar if you take pliers and gently flatten the loops on the end. Not bank level security, but will stop the average thief from grabbing and running.

Marginal for security
The length of one meter is to short; should be 1.5 meters. The cable diameter is about 2-3mm to thin for suitable security; should be 5-6mm. Good price.

Good Travel Sercurity accessory
This was purchased to use while traveling on trains in Europe. It's important to lock your luggage to some. thing when it's not going to be able to be watched continually. Thieves and pickpockets are ubiquitous. Combining this with the lock serves the purpose. It could be defeated with wire cutters. But I doubt thieves are going to go to that effort too. steal something and instead we'll move on to an easier target.
