Great read
Great read and I have loved the series but could use a little less of the F-word and GD- word.

Love, loss and everything in between, this romance story was just as beautiful as it was heartbreaking.
“We kiss for the past, the present, and the future. I lose myself in her touch, and small broken parts of my heart are put back together. I will never lose the scars, but in her touch, I can heal a little.”Love, loss and everything in between, this romance story was just as beautiful as it was heartbreaking. Josh and Delia’s romance had that instant chemistry and connection that made this book in the series extremely sexy and steamy, taking the heat up a notch. But along with the heat, there was a lot of heartache and pain to overcome for these two to get their happily ever after. The emotional twists were devastating but created the opportunity for healing and trust and love to finally thrive. I loved that when a surprise pregnancy was thrown at them, they handled it with maturity, even if it was something neither was ready for.“Her love makes me think there’s hope, and that’s something I haven’t experienced in years. Everything seems possible when I look at her.”Delia had held onto to her love for Josh for years, and when the opportunity to fall in bed together arose, she took her chance knowing it might be all she’d ever have of him. It was clear that while Josh denied it, he definitely harbored strong feelings for Delia, he was just afraid to open his heart again to love. I ached so much over the pain from his past, I wanted to wrap him in my arms and just hold him and show him he was never at fault. Delia was so kind, loving and full of sass, she didn’t let Josh walk all over her, even if a wink from him could break her walls down in an instant. Their journey to love definitely tested their trust in each other but in the end they realized together was the best place to be. And THAT EPILOGUE, I need Oliver’s book now!!The stories of Willow Creek Valley are stand-alones but for the best experience they definitely need to be read in order. I had to re-read a little to get me started for Josh and Delia’s story. 4.5 Stars for me!

Surprise baby
3.5 stars This book started so strong but I lost the connection to the characters about half way through. I really liked the beginning of this book but the conflict had me struggling to keep up with how they were feeling. By the end, I just wasn’t as invested as I am in other books by this author. Delia’s situation is so tragic and if you have any pregnancy triggers, please make sure you’re aware of the TWs. This is a solid romance, Just not one of my favorites.Josh has probably loved Delia since the first time he met her and Delia has definitely loved him. However neither has acted on their feelings until now. Determined not to fall in love, but unable to stay away from her any longer, Josh gives in to his feelings and the two have a passionate, benefits only affair, until Delia gets pregnant. Thrown into a deeper relationship, Josh struggles with his past and Delia struggles to help him.

When Joshua Falls for Delia
Dear Ms. Corinne Michaels,Overall Grade: 4.5 ⭐️It must be said. You write some seriously angsty small-town romance. A Moment for Us is more of that and then some. It’s interesting that by the time your readers hit any third book of your series you pull out all the stops and make your readers cry. This next book in the Willow Creek Valley series is no different. I would love to divulge all that you put Delia and Joshua through, but well, they should find this out on their own. However, what you’ve done is take a man unwilling to commit to his queen of a heroine, and you allow us to fall for him. And it isn’t easy to do. Joshua Parkerson isn’t easy to love. The facade that you craft for him forces choices out of him that, for most of AMFU, undermines his happiness. And no one really likes a sad-sack hero. Yet...with your deft storytelling, you humanize him. I knew it would be the case with Joshua that he would be hiding something. For him to clearly love and adore Delia, but continue to push her away, given that this is a Corinne Michaels’s book, we knew he had to have a secret, and you didn’t hold back on him. However, you make your readers wait on that for two-thirds of the book, causing us, until the revelation of his secret, to want to continually smack him over the head at his obstinancy. And isn’t that a mark of good writing when your readers feel invested in your characters?Delia is a saint in this book. Seriously. Honestly, if I was Delia, I would have given up and moved out of town after enduring the rollercoaster of Joshua Parkerson, but then, I guess that guy has some talents in bed. Instead, you imbue her with a strength that carries your story. Without Delia’s stalwart nature, A Moment for Us could not be successful. When it matters, you allow her to build walls to protect her heart. Even when readers such as myself want her to build them earlier, you don’t allow it. Instead, you allow her vulnerabilities. In turn, this wins Joshua over.A Moment for Us deliciously furthers the Willow Creek Valley series, adding an additional layer to the Parkerson Family’s story. Most of Corinne Michaels’s book is focused on Delia and Joshua with a smattering of the other sibs, and there is no sighting of the patriarch and matriarch of the clan, which means there is still more story to this series. Thankfully, Michaels teases the next book...and it looks like a humdinger.

such deep emotions
Ok so this story nearly broke me. The intensity of emotion it brings out is insane! Joshua is so very very broken and Delia is the glue he doesn’t even realize he needs to put his life back together. This was an emotional rollercoaster that was absolutely exactly the way it was meant to be. Trauma and fear can destroy even the most deep love. The past has a way of creating uncertainty in the future and it certainly did that for Josh. Delia was just looking for the love she knew was in her future. But she had to convince a very broken Joshua that he deserved happiness and love. The loss and emotion they had to endure was beyond anything anyone should have to endure. Yet they did it and they made it through together. The past may influence the future but love truly wins! I absolutely LOVE Joshua and all his brokenness and Delia is the epitome of strength and determination built on a foundation of love!I can’t wait for Oliver’s story!! But I don’t want this series to end……..

Todos los lugares comunes
Repetitivo, predecible y lleno de lugares comunes. No vale la pena pagar por él. El peor libro esta autora de todos los que he leído.

I really enjoyed reading this book, but did get frustrated with Josh on occasion. Although I understood his problems as well.

Full of emotion
Touches on lots of topics. Some very delicate about loss, and trust issues.Delia has loved Josh for years, but Josh is closed off and won't give in to commitment. After some hot, steamy fun leads to more, these two struggle to align.Well written and left on a wondering note!
