great for creating the K-Beauty gradient or "blurred lip" look, very pigmented, made in Korea
This SKINFOOD Soda Mousse Fit lip tint is perfect for creating the K-Beauty gradient or "blurred lip" look that is popular now. "Blurry" is a good way to describe the edges. It's not at all shiny or glossy, but it's not the flat opaque smooth dry surface created by traditional matte lip color products. It's like a soft focus, more glowy matte. The product picture shows the desired result pretty well and there are lots of video tutorials online. The texture is thick and creamy, very pigmented. I ordered the "#03 MAUVE ADE" shade which is a cool tone leaning pink with a hint of purple. It's made in Korea, and SKINFOOD is a well-known K-beauty brand. The expiration date is marked on the box and also bottom of the tube. The ingredients are only printed in Korean on the outer box, but it was pretty easy to find the ingredient list online. The full ingredients are:Dimethicone, Water, Disiloxane, Dimethicone Crosspolymer, Cetyl Peg/Ppg-10/1 Dimethicone, Isododecane, Diisostearyl Malate, Sodium Chloride, Titanium Dioxide (Ci 77891), Caprylyl Glycol, Disteardimonium Hectorite, Octocrylene, Paraffin, 1,2-Hexanediol, Butylene Glycol, Sorbitan Sesquioleate, Sorbitan Isostearate, Peg-60 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Iron Oxides (Ci 77491), Propylene Carbonate, Red 7 (Ci 15850), Trehalose, Fragrance, Red 30 (Ci 73360), Iron Oxides (Ci 77499), Barium Sulfate, Cera Microcristallina, Silica, Blue 1 Lake (Ci 42090), Red 6 (Ci 15850), Mica (Ci 77019), Sodium Acetylated Hyaluronate, Sodium Hyaluronate, Hydrolyzed Hyaluronic Acid, Sodium Bicarbonate, [+/- May Contain]Iron Oxides (Ci 77492), Red 27 (Ci 45410), Red 28 Lake (Ci 45410), Red 33 Lake (Ci 17200), Yellow 5 Lake (Ci 19140), Yellow 6 Lake (Ci 15985)

04 Candied Berry
Ordered #04 Candied Berry, and don't know why the color name is "berry", because it is a classic coral shade of the 1960's-1980's that I saw women back then wear often. With my brunette hair color & gold/olive skin tone, I tend to go for berry toned cosmetics, and this lip tint specific color is NOT a berry tone at all on me. However, I do like Korean coral toned cosmetics, because they work very well with my light, gold & olive skin tone. This tint is smooth, probably has silicone ingredient in it so it is smooth to wear, it lasts a decent length of time for a Korean lip tint, but to keep it from wearing away, like with all lip tints, I must use a drinking straw with beverages. This specific color does seem to have a tad bit of a white base in it (for those w/deeper skin tones that don't want a washed-out lip look). It is a pretty color that brightens skin tone and can be worn when not wearing any other makeup because it is so smooth and sheer to just work great with bare skin. I apply one coat and smooth/blend it out with my pinky finger. Sometimes I apply 2 coats for longevity at work. It does not settle into lip wrinkles, nor bleed, but I can tell it will "highlight" dry, chapped lip skin, so lip exfoliation is necessary for this tint. Because it is silky-smooth it "feels" like it is hydrating, but honestly cannot determine if this tint is actually hydrating my lips. I just know it does not dry them out. I am in my late 40's and dry, wrinkly, sagging lips have become an issue that I have to maintenance regularly. I am having to really pay attention to lip makeup formulation for aging lips and this lip tint is working fine. I don't have to "babysit" it at work like one does for a bold, red lipstick. Overall, this is a color that can be worn year 'round with anything, but especially in the spring time. The color reminds me of azalea blossoms, which I am drawn to because it is a happy, youthful, healthy color. I often wear Korean lip tints because they make my overall complexion look enlivened, awake, healthy, bright, and happy. I've been using Korean skin care and makeup since 2015, because I sought such products that are affordable, effective, and satisfying for my skin and budget. Skinfood is one of my most favorite brands for makeup, but not so much skin care. In the Korean skincare/makeup community/social media, it is being said that the Skinfood brand may be going through a rebranding, thus this could explain why Skinfood products have been hard to find as of late, but they do seem to be coming back. I know we are all tired of the classic, typical Korean lip tint colors over the years (bright red, Barbie pink, coral, bright orange), and am hoping they expand color ranges even further than they have for lip tints. Oh and this tint is not sticky. It is kinda-barely-creamy on the lips when I rub them together, and like I said, it is smooth. It does dry down eventually as it fades and it does transfer. I had to learn how to wear lip tints and stains, so I went to YouTube and learned a lot about them. Hope this review helps.

NOT transferproof - Sometimes tingles/numbing
Review is for 3 shades: Rosy Squeeze (#01), Candied Berry (#04), & Peach Sorbet (#05)The past few months I have been into lip tints and lip stains. My lip gloss phase was very short-lived. Lip stains/tints suit me more. I like them because they’re generally more pigmented, comfortable on the lips, easier to reapply/maintain throughout the day, and they’re long lasting. I was going to pass on this since I prefer lipsticks in traditional bullet form but then I saw the brand name and it made me curious to try. I cannot believe Skinfood is offered on Amazon Vine! When I went through a Korean beauty/skincare phase many years ago this brand was a part of it. How exciting!Lasting/Staying Power:It definitely transfers onto straws/cups/utensils. If you wipe your mouth it will come off easily so I do not recommend wearing this under a mask. This is a lip tint, not lip stain. It lasts a while if you aren’t doing much with your mouth. If you have a protruding mouth like me, it will stick on the teeth a little bit but not badly.Consistency/Pigmentation/Application:Korean lip tints are known to create a blur/blotted/feathery/diffused effect. They like to apply it in the center so the lips appear stained like from eating a popsicle. Some call it just bitten lips. I am not into that trend. I prefer full lips application. It feels lightweight, moisturizing, velvety, and powdery with a satin finish. Lips feel soft and smooth when I press my lips together. The fluid is moussey but spreads thin. You might have to use your fingers or a lip brush to apply this. It has potential to be medium to high opacity/pigmentation. You can build it up or pat it on. They remind me of NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream, but it’s not smudge-proof as I mentioned earlier. **Upon application, sometimes my lips feel a mixture of tingling, burning, cooling, and numbness. Thankfully that feeling goes away quickly.**Color:I have pale lips so they all brighten my face. They’re all variations of pink-coral. Some are a bit pinker, redder, or peachier. I think they all have a white base (if you know what I mean) but I notice it more on #04 and #05. This could be a problem for darker skin tones. In my photos, the colors may look the same but there are differences in person. Also, arm swatches appear red but on my lips they’re pinker.-Rosy Squeeze (#01): Rosy salmon color. More subdued than the other two. Most natural to me.-Candied Berry (#04): Reddish pink. Most vibrant of the three.-Peach Sorbet (#05): Salmon pink color. Peach/orange undertones.Scent:It has some kind of scent that is indescribable. A very subtle peachy smell mixed with carbonated water. It’s not noticeable and it doesn’t linger on the mouth. I prefer this over typical vanilla/cake.Packaging/Applicator:I love the frosted/matte packaging. It has a soft touch coating so it’s grippy and tactile. Feels good in the hands! The brush is slender, flexible, soft, fuzzy, and slightly slanted/angled.**Images aren’t accurate due to different lighting. Some taken cloudy days, sunny days, indoor lighting, etc.

Vibrant and Long Lasting Color, Doesn't Feel Tacky or Drying - A Very Good Lip Tint
The Skinfood Soda Mousse Lip Tint is an excellent tint that offers long lasting color that doesn't transfer much, feels good on the lips, and looks great when applied. The tint color will vary depending on skin tone, and I found that it worked very well with my slightly tanned Asian complexion. I was skeptical whether I could pull off the lighter Peach Sorbet color and found that it was very much like coral lip tint, which works for virtually every skin tone. It's a nice pinkish color that's looks natural on my lips and when applied looks slightly matte, but not dry. The tint doesn't feel greasy or tacky when applied, but it doesn't feel overly dry either. Instead, lips feel like there is something on it and has a slight smooth feeling like there is a tiny bit of moisture it on. I like how it doesn't feel heavy, and how it has no flavor or scent like most chapsticks do. This lip color does transfer a bit when you drink out of mug/cups, but it's not a heavy transfer like lipstick or tinted chapsticks. It is noticeable though, particularly right after you apply the tint. Although it does transfer, I noticed that the tint didn't noticeably fade on my lips until much later in the day. The color is fairly long lasting, and I was able to go several hours before needing to reapply, even with some snacking and drinking tea at my desk. Overall, it's a good quality lip tint that's budget friendly and offers great color.

Super Creamy - Moisturizing
SKINFOOD Soda Mousse Fit Tint 4.5g,Skinfood was the first K-Beauty brand I ever tried and I fell in love with their products. This lip tint is just perfect, it is creamy and provides lovely color. It has a bit of staining effect so once the gloss wears off, your lips remain a bit tinted. It is very comfortable to wear and glides on. It lasts about 4-6 hours depending on eating or drinking. It left my lips moisturized and had no rebound dryness.IngredientsDimethicone, Water, Disiloxane, Dimethicone Crosspolymer, Cetyl Peg/Ppg-10/1 Dimethicone, Isododecane, Diisostearyl Malate, Sodium Chloride, Caprylyl Glycol, Titanium Dioxide (Ci 77891), Disteardimonium Hectorite, Octocrylene, Paraffin, 1,2-Hexanediol, Butylene Glycol, Sorbitan Sesquioleate, Sorbitan Isostearate, Iron Oxides (Ci 77491), Peg-60 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Red 7 (Ci 15850), Propylene Carbonate, Trehalose, Fragrance, Barium Sulfate, Iron Oxides (Ci 77499), Silica, Cera Microcristallina, Sodium Acetylated Hyaluronate, Sodium Hyaluronate, Hydrolyzed Hyaluronic Acid, Sodium Bicarbonate, Iron Oxides (Ci 77492), Red 30 (Ci 73360), Red 6 (Ci 15850), Red 27 (Ci 45410), Red 28 Lake (Ci 45410), Red 33 Lake (Ci 17200), Yellow 5 Lake (Ci 19140), Yellow 6 Lake (Ci 15985), Blue 1 Lake (Ci 42090)
