in general is it well built and an adequate sliding door kit. it IS a pretty good value for the money. be sure to use it with a solid all wood door, not a hollow core or even one of those sawdust-solid doors. you will need to create a 3/8~1/2" inch slot in the bottom of the door and a particle board core door will not perform well. there is a significant amount of back-measuring and planning to install one of these and drywall anchors will be inadequate to hold the weight of any door without failing over time. the roller-wheels have a rubber wheel that is supposed to 'ride' the rail - but the metal sides contact the rail causing aluminum/steel shaving over time. the rubber is too shallow and the metal wheel edges grind against the railing. the railing is light gauge extruded aluminum and flexes somewhat during use but it still operates correctly. the railing mounts must be mounted/tightened and correctly back-measured before hanging the railing due to the hidden fastener design. i like the minimal look of it, but the build/engineering of the wheels and the thin gauge extrusion rails keep me from giving it a higher rating. it is still a fair value for the price i paid.

Very attractive , smooth operation , but , manual of no value , vague and incomplete for a number of different products ... don't buy if you only have a room temp political conservative I Q , you'll never make it work . The inside bore on the stops was left unfinished , wouldn't index .... burned an hour w/a die grinder finishing them . In the end I did manage to complete the project . This product replaced a black iron barn door hdw. set that did , in fact , look like the inside of a barn , seemed like a good idea at the time .

The hardware is not suitable for any kind of door, my contractor was not able to use it at all, very light weight. I immediately went to return it, then UPS said my return was over $100, how can they sell a product that they charge an insane money for return. Be very careful with ordering this product, I was able to get a better quality hardware for less money that my contractor was able to install immediate. Now am stuck with hardware that is useless and not able to get my money back. shame that amazone works with this type of companies.

the unit looks and feels great. BUT due to the top of the door attachment and no adjustment in the wall anchor. To adjust the rod one must take extra and I mean extra care in installing the travel rod. As once installed there is no way to adjust the rod. unless you detach the rod from the wall and re-anchor it creating new holes in the wall If the unit had slotted attachment you could make fine-tune changes to the rod.

We love the way the track looks and how the barn door really opened up the room. So much that we bought another to put on the pantry.
