Each piece is made to order and handmade by husband and wife team Ali and Randy Schaffner. Our signs are hand crafted from USA made maple ply, which has a beautiful grain, knots and movement to the wood. We hand select each sheet of maple for it's beauty and character. The sides pare painted and corners are sanded and rounded for a rustic age-worn look. Your piece can come in two options, the first "as shown" is a clean bright white with crisp black lettering and a thin black border around the very edge. Or I can distress and age your piece with a dry brush of walnut stain. This effect darkens the entire piece as if it's been sitting for ages. The face of the sign is aged using a hand applied dry brush effect. Finished with a fade resistant UV clear coat. ::..
