We have used Lupine leashes for all of our dogs. They are the best!

I’ve been using these leashes for at least 15 years because they are sturdy, good looking and have great customer service! They’ve sent several replacement leashes over the years after a dog chewed threw them. So I was happy to buy a new one from them when the one I’d had for 5 or so years was looking shabby (I drop the leash handle and let him drag it around sometimes when we meet a friend out on a walk, so a lot of that shabbiness is probably my fault!)I love the colors of this new one! I forgot that I normally go with 3/4” for him (he’s about 32 pounds) but the 1” will work fine too!

Great quality leash, and I LOVE the chew guarantee!! This is the second I have purchased (first was through my vet) to have on hand in the car- just turned one in for warranty as my dog went to town on it in the car and I didn't see her chewing (she's thankfully outgrown her chewing stage!).They have a very easily accessible warranty claim on their website (so it's a REAL warranty, not one where you have jump through ridiculous feats to claim the warranty like to have the original receipt, a photo of you taken on the day you bought it time stamped, a copy of your passport and your original birth certificate and your dogs molars surgically removed and sent in a sealed envelope separately): You take a photo of the damage and they can determine your damage and send a replacement (I hope people stay honest and do not abuse this awesome company!!!)The unthawed up one looks great after daily use for 6 months and we USE it: walks, runs, dog beach (ocean water- no rust as of yet but I make sure to rinse it when we get home- I don't have unrealistic expectations it's salt water), dog park, car rides, temporary tie-out supervised while in front yard with me).I really recommend this

I am really torn about this product. I bought the Sea Glass 1-inch, 6 foot lead because I already had a Lupine lead that was awesome (same kind, but design was black with skulls and had held up for more than a year to a 40 pound husky mix). As much as I love the skull designed leash, I can't recommend this Sea Glass one. It frayed badly and then tore in only a couple months. Lupine was VERY good about sending a replacement that came within a few days. It was the Peacock feather design (still 1-inch, 6 feet).Well, the replacement has torn even worse than the first one in about the same amount of time. Luckily my husband noticed the tear before taking the dog out. And no, my dogs didn't chew the leash. The leashes are kept out of reach of the dogs. This was from walking them. They are both huskies of about 40 lbs each, but still.So I would recommend that if you're going to buy this leash, carefully check the leash for any pulls or the start of fraying. If it starts fraying at all, it will quickly turn into a tear, making the leash useless (kind of like a run in a stocking).Also, there is a reason for the padded handle - use it or risk burning and/or slicing your hand or something else. My dog went around behind me and pulled and the leash sliced across my calf, leaving a nice cut and burn mark that didn't feel too good.I've included pictures of the original leash and the replacement, which as you can see, is a lot worse.

Loved the pattern and the comfort of the handle

Lupine products are excellent. They are well made and a great quality product. I have six dogs and each has a Lupine collar. I have thrown them in the washer when they became dirty and they always come out great. I don’t think we have ever actually worn one out. I replace them occasionally just to have something different but they will last for years. I expect this leash will outlast my dogs and me.

I bought this leash after my dog pulled a bit too hard one day during a walk and snapped his leash. Admittedly, it was my fault not having a sturdy enough leash since he is VERY strong. I did some research finding a good collar that I liked first. Then I saw this suggested with the collar. Read into it. Looked at the reviews and decided to get it as well. I'm glad I did! This leash is very sturdy. I love the design and bright colors, it matches the collar perfectly. I like the separate, slightly padded loop to hold on to. The clip is very good quality as well. It seems to be very tough, not cheesy or like it will break easily. Lupine has a customer for life with me!

I bought this for my 4 month old GSD/husky mix. He has a bad habit of needing to have his leash in his mouth during walks. If he is moody, over the walk or in a playful mood, he'll grab the leash and start a game of tug-of-war. I figured a shorter leash would help with this along with encouraging a better habit of walking next to me instead of in front. Although he still wants to tug on the leash and feels the need to "walk himself" sometimes with the shorter leash, it does seem to be getting less frequent.

Trust the Lupine name for overall quality, including sturdy hardware, secure stitching etc. BEAUTIFUL COLOURS! The mfg feel so positive about their product that they print their phone number on the Amazon site & include it in each item sold.WOW
