I have “mature” skin. I use borage oil daily, morning/night, on my face and neck. I researched its positive effects on skin, as a topical, finding it has benifits as an anti inflammatory and variety of skin issues. I love how soft and clear it makes my skin! I swear it’s helped with small fine lines and elasticity on my face! It initially feels greasy, but within a few minutes, it absorbs and my skin just feels hydrated!It smells a bit earthy, but not offensive. I will say, over time it does start to smell stronger, after a couple months, - but still effective (1 bottle last me about 4 months) I think I should keep it in the fridge! I’ve loved it and have been quite pleased I’m not moisturizing with chemicals whose name I can’t pronounce - and my skin looks and feels great!

It’s a great size and good quality oil! A great moisturizer for the hair and skin if you’re into using oil for those things!

Goes on with a greasy feel. It is oil after all. But it absorbs after a while and really moisturizes. I have really dry skin and use this over a serum and before my moisturizer.

I wrongly returned an order of this, thinking the oil had gone rancid. Natural borage oil has a particular odor. At the time I was coming down with an oversensitivity to fragrances. I complained to the purveyor and they kindly sent me another bottle which I made the same error with as before. Round and round it went, me returning and they replacing... I was in the wrong, and pretty hard on them. To their credit, they were consistently accommodating. I'm ordering more of this today, so thought this a good time to leave a nice review :)

I started using natural products one month ago including a variety of Bella Terra oils. This oil is by far my favorite. I put about 4 drops in my hands and massage it into my face after I shower and at night before bed. It has never broken me out and it makes my skin tone so even after I apply it that it is like a miracle oil! It also reduces the oil in my face...who would have thought oil would have so many benefits! I always break out or get blotches from almost all skin care products but since switching to natural products my skin looks better than it has in the past decade. My husband even said I look brighter than usual like I have a radiance again so I think this product and my other Bella Terra Oils (Emu, Vit E, Cucumber, Tamanu, Rosehip, Pomegranate and Argan) will remain well stocked at my house from now on. P.S. Emu oil brightens the skin so it is amazing for getting rid of dark under eye circles and the results are seen in minutes!

I've gotten this organic borage seed oil multiple times and this is the first time that its beautiful, sweet signature scent is totally missing. So I'm disappointed. But the oil works really well with healing redness, rashes, dryness and scars, and even works great on moisturizing dry hair. I use it all over my face, lips and body after showering and before bed.The quality is very good but I'm wondering if I got an older batch because I know the special natural borage scent is missing where it shouldn't be. It smells more like other plant oils that I've used but this one used to be my favorite because of the unbelievable aroma. Now I'm not sure.The glass bottle is dark brown to keep out sunlight, and the dropper is easy to use. It absorbs very quickly into the skin and doesn't remain oily. It's definitely worth trying, and it's great for roll-on facial blends!

Dr. Alexis Stephen recommended this on one of her videos for dry skin and so I gave it a try and I love ❤️ it. It has a smell but it does go away in a minute or so but otherwise it works wonders

I recently discovered Borage Therapy lotion for my extremely dry peeling hands. I liked it so much and researched borage oil and the benefits. I purchased this and over the moon over it. It's not greasy feeling, absorbs so well. I can mix other lotions (no fragrance ones) also and use the Shikai borage therapy with it. I have the no soap bar too. It is helping with the redness, but still have a way to go, but the chapped and peeling was not pretty. My doc is not sure if it's eczema or psoriasis since it acts like either or whatever kind of dermatitis. Works on elbows and ankles and feet, all over. Have used about half the bottle already, and would easily purchase again.
