These filters accompany faucet mount systems (compatible with both) that DuPont puts out. Let me tell you, it's better than anything I've ever used.These filters are designed to last a long time, unlike other faucet mounting systems which are limited sometimes to less than 20 gallons. The truth is, however, that these replaceable filters cost less than most other brands of replaceable filters. There are also no batteries that need to be changed (each unit is self contained), the filtering system is state of the art (does a better job than other filters on the market), and the filter, till the very last drop, experiences little to no pressure change (I'm almost certain that there is no pressure change.Basically, this water filter system, and consequently the item described on this page, filters like those fancy $200.00/1,000gal refrigerator unit water filters, with constant pressure and great tasting water.In fact, this system clears contaminants that most other filters can only dream of. Just check the packaging details.This product is almost always cheaper online. I bought the original filter system with stock filter (a 200/gal) for nearly 200% more than what I could have paid here (or just about any other site). Just do it.You will appreciate the quality of these filters. The only caution I would keep in mind is the fact that you should NEVER filter hot water (through any filter for that matter). If you want to "filter" your hot water, then just boil it.You won't be sorry!

Bought these filters to replace the included filter from my DuPont WFFM350XCH Electric Metered 200-Gallon Deluxe Faucet Mount Premium Water Filtration Unit. The included filter did not make it to 200 gallons. After about 60 gallons the stream of water was so minimal it became annoying not to mention it took so long to fill up a mug, pets water dish, etc. Another reviewer mentions the extra amounts of chlorine in the NYC water during the warmer months to kill off bacteria, insects, etc. I imagine they're using more chlorine because of the Ebola and other viruses out there as well. If true, then it would explain why these filters would deteriorate quicker. Check your area if you have a similar situation with your tap water. With this in mind I would not recommend buying the 200 gallon filters. Use these 100 gallon filters instead. Keep in mind that I paid around $23.60 for 3 filters! If I were to continue buying gallon bottles of spring water from the store at $.99 or even $.89, I would be paying way more! I average around 50 gallons or so before I have to replace the filter with a fresh one. Feel free to do the math for yourself. This is a better option.Note: Keep in mind that reaching 100 gallons with your filter will most likely depend on your location. If you have to change your filter before then, imagine all the impurities that your filter collected before it clogged up and you were forced to change it. Something to think about.

I first purchased this product in January 2016 directly from Amazon, and the filters filtered my tap water very well. The water was clear and tasted good.However, in November 2016, I purchased two more "new" packages of filters from Center Valley Enterprises on Amazon, and the filters leave my water a very cloudy white that I cannot even see through. The product instructions say, "Turn on the water for 5 minutes to flush the filter cartridge. The flush will remove any carbon particles and prepare the filter for use." No matter how many minutes--or DAYS or WEEKS!--that I run the water to flush the filter, my water is still a cloudy white. When I have the filter turned off, my faucet water is completely clear, so the filter is definitely causing the cloudiness. I feel that I wasted my money. I assume that the replacement filters are simply a low quality?UPDATE from January 2017: I purchased a fourth package of these filters, this time directly from Amazon rather than a third-party seller. The filters from Amazon produce clear water. I highly recommend buying these filters from Amazon rather than another seller.
