THE SWEDISH ECO-FRIENDLY DISHCLOTH: All Swedish Dishcloths sold by Trendy Tripper are made in Europe with natural fibers 70% cellulose wood pulp and 30% recycled cotton fibers. The dry sponge cloth fabric was invented in 1949 by a Swedish engineer and since then the Swedish dishcloth has been a household staple in most Scandinavian homes. Each Swedish dishcloth replaces 15-17 rolls of paper towel, saving cost and saving our planet. The sponge cloth acts much like a sponge in that it absorbs 15 times its weight in water and is very useful in wiping nearly all household surfaces. The damp sponge cloth is soft like a chamois. Perfect for granite and pans with non-stick surfaces. Many customers even use them for wiping baby’s hands, face and high chairs. Another unique feature is that these thin Swedish dishcloths dry very quickly. This is key to having a clean kitchen. Allow it to dry after use and it should feel clean and not smell like the usual sponges do. The dishcloth is machine washable or you can wash it on the top shelf in the dishwasher or pop in the microwave (when damp) for 1 minute. The sponge cloth may be washed a couple hundred times. Either dry them briefly in the clothes dryer or allow it to air dry. Hang on a dishcloth rail inside the sink where it can dry quickly. When you find that your cloth has reached its life expectancy, cut into pieces and toss in your compost heap because it is biodegradable! The possibilities are endless. Customers use these to wipe their boats, do spring cleaning at home or cottage, in your car, on outdoor furniture, in baby’s room. You will find many different ways for cleaning up with the Swedish dishcloth aka Swedish sponge cloth. Made in Sweden.

Great Item for Kitchen
These wipes are handy to use in place of dish cloths and paper towels. Rinse & wring out out easily,I pop my in the top rack of dishwasher to "launder" Love the mod designs available tho they are priceyas compared to others that are solid colored. I call them an affordable luxury. They make clean up choresa breeze. Buy and try, you'll love the fact you no longer will be dealing with sour dish rag smells, if you rinse after use.I'm sold, probably won't go back to traditional dish cloth.

Poor quality for the price
Disappointed in the product. While the design is nice, for the price I expected a better quality. Agree with others that I should have read every detail in the description. However, the initial description is designed to be misleading. Lesson learned.

These are nice little towels
I sewed magnets to them and keep them on my dishwasher. They are great for spills in the kitchen and general cleaning. I just pop them in the dishwasher to wash and sanitize. Then back on the door of the dishwasher to keep handy.

Not a typical dishcloth, but still really neat.
I ordered this expecting something more akin to a dishrag. However, this might have been the best oops ever. This little thing is part sponge, part rag and all awesome. It's great for cleaning inside tall glasses as it's longer than a normal sponge and I don't have to try to force my whole hand down inside the neck.

Not a regular dish towel
I thought I was purchasing regular dish towels for the price. I didn’t read the entire description, so my fault. They are essentially a 6 inch by 6 inch pressed sponge. The designs are cute, but had I saw them in a store I’d given them a pass because of the price or I should say over priced items.

cute but don't bother
this is NOT a dishcloth that you could wipe dishes with. it is a "cleaning sponge cloth" according to the packaging and it is not worth what i paid for it.

Really cute
I bought them for my sister for this coming Christmas. They are super cute she collects mid century stuff and pyrex so this will be perfect for her kitchen. The only negative is it's kind of pricey. I can't remark on the aborbency since I haven't used them.

These sponge cloths work great for many weeks each.
I like these swedish spongcloths, but I think they are too expensive. The cheaper ones work just as well.
