Good TV for the price
Nice slim TV for the price. Low profile, easy to mount. The picture quality is reasonable to me! I’m sure there’s better but for someone like me who doesn’t watch TV often this is perfect

Great TV for the price
Opted to get this QLED version over the comparable Insignia (normal LED), for only like ~$30 more, and I think it was well worth it. The TV has a great image quality and looks really nice, sleek, and thin. There is a bit of glare during the daytime when the sun is angled right, but it's not as bad as other TVs I've had. The built in Fire TV smart apps are super fast (actually significantly faster than my Samsung smart TV which is smaller and way more expensive than this one..), which really nice to have. One of the few drawbacks is the sound, which isn't great but also isn't too bad.

Excellent budget TV!
I've always shopped for tv's in a low price range because I like watching TV, but I don't need it to be super fancy. I like to put that money elsewhere. That being said, I do try to keep up with the latest in technology so I get my money's worth over the years. This TV I got on a black friday deal. It seemed solid and I had average expectations (especially since it was a sale tv.) BUT it has blown me away! Primarily, the greatest thing about it is the amazing sound quality. It rumbles and has bass, something I'm not used to with my tv's! You could get a soundbar if you wanted, but honestly, I don't think it's needed with this one. I am a music lover and all my audio needs to be able to play music with good sound quality. Unlike my other tv's, I do not mind at all playing my music through this tv. That being said, the image quality is average and I don't see a significant difference between it and my 6-year-old Sony. Despite that, the large size is great and it is a bright tv. I do not regret my purchase at all and enjoy the alexa integration as well, makes it easy to navigate. I'd recommend this tv, especially if you can get it on sale :)

The truth
I give this tv 3 stars on picture quality and brightness because it is one of the ones that do not come calibrated out the box, yes, you read that right ! And it does not come with any calibration instructions for that matter! I had to do a ton of research on how to calibrate this particular model. Don’t get me wrong , picture is nice, clear as day!! But that took me days, going through the picture settings adjusting them! I have this one in my room, it’s about 7 or 8 feet away from me. I only use this tv at night when going to bed so there isn’t any daylight coming through the windows. Yes, room size, room color, how far you are from the tv and how much light the room gets all play factors into properly calibrating any tv. Yes you can get it professionally calibrated, for like additional $200 bucks or so. You know those tv’s you see hanging on the wall in stores, that look so pretty and vibrant… all those tv’s are professionally calibrated. That’s how they sell them!! Lol anyhow, there is some instructions out there on how to calibrate this tv, and just some general calibration videos and steps on any tv. You just have to do a little research.

Very Nice
I was hesitant in getting a Fire TV as we use Apple TV steaming boxes for the interface. However, I was pleasantly surprised that this comes with Netflix, Hulu, Prime, and much more on the remote. The picture quality is excellent with the QLED. I brought this as a guest room TV, but am pleasantly surprised at the performance and features of Fire TV.Also the ordering process, I liked as we ordered then went to our local Best Buy to pick up. Nice touch Amazon.

Dead pixels! Do not buy!
Possibly my worst Amazon purchase! Came with rows and rows of dead pixels down one entire side of the screen. The reviews that you see of folks complaining of dead pixels are not one offs, they are a sign of persistent problem with this make of TV. The more you dig into reviews both here and on the Best Buy website the more you find that this is a very common problem with this model. Because the seller is Best Buy returns are not easy or quick like with many Amazon returns.I also bought the mount at the same time, but with having to return the TV due to it being defective and the mount not fitting other TVs I had to return it. And Best Buy has CHARGED me to return it. Insignia is a Best Buy owned brand, their tv was defective and is consistently defective and they charged me to return something that only works with that TV.I just can’t believe how poor the customer service has been. I expect so much better. I’m not even going to get into the shipping issues and Best Buy giving me only one tracking number for both items, only to find out later after freaking out that someone had stolen the TV when it was delivered that they were two separate packages.

Stunning
Got this as an upgrade from out 2012 tv and it's so much of an upgrade it practically redefined the term. The sound quality is incredible. Everything from the Bass to the high notes. The image is beautiful as well. Colors are wonderful and the resolution is great. Best viewed from a small distance, however.
