I’ve had three pair of Ecco boots! I literally walked out of the sole of my other pair having had them for 15 years and wearing them at least 3-4 x per week. They fit like a glove. The craftsmanship is top notch. You cannot go wrong with a pair of Ecco boots.

I live in a climate with cold and wet winters. I use these boots to walk to work--and then remain them all day! Rare combination of function and style. Feet remained warm and dry despite snow, sleet, and bitter cold temperatures. Held up well after one winter so far. Still look like new.

I love ECCO, I always look for the brand before anything else and I can order with near certainty that their size 42 will fit my size 11M feet perfectly. They have always proved worth their expensive price tag. This boot is the first time I've tried on a pair of ECCO's and disliked both the fit and the comfort. They run a half size smaller in length than their size 42 usually does and also feels narrower and overall just tighter than it usually does. The insole, which normally fits like a custom made glove, is stiffer and does not cradle the foot like my other ECCO'S. I also agree with the other reviewers who mentioned that it is difficult to get your foot fully into the boot; this is because for some reason the designers incorporated a piece of material into the boot at the base of the zipper that restricts the boot from opening as wide as it could. I'm pointing to it in one of my photos. So even with the zipper all the way down you have to really struggle to get your foot through into the boot. Also, the shaft of the boot is quite loose; I don't have particularly skinny nor thick calves and the shaft of the boot was baggy and loose even on my average calves, if you have skinny calves you will positively swim in them. Depending on your leg length--these are not very tall boots, as you can see in the photos they only come up about 3/4 up my leg, however take that with a grain of salt because I am 5'11" and have long legs so they might be fine for you if you have shorter legs. The material is leather in the foot part of the boot and front of the shaft and a black mesh type fabric (this is not a stretch fabric either) on the back of the shaft. The foot portion and the front of shaft are lined in Gore Tex which is really good stuff and so they would probably be well protected from cold and snow. But the back of the shaft is just that plain black mesh, unlined with the Gore Tex. I obviously didn't try these out in the snow but I can only guess that if you got into deep snow the back of your leg could get cold and wet pretty quick because there's no lining back there. I just really do not recommend these. They are not up the ECCO standard of quality I am willing to shell out for. If you're looking for a good ECCO boot get the Skyler, it is utterly amazing in all the ways this boot is not.

not very comfortable on one foot as the pressure comes from the top stitching. And also the other side scratched my skin off. Quality is good and they are warm.

Ho comprato queste scarpe in saldo ma le ho restituite sebbene fossero molto comode nel piede dato che le ho trovate davvero pessime a livello estetico.

Las botas son de color gris aunque en la foto se ven mas tirando a marron pero el color es mas bonito.Son un poco estrechas pero imagino que con el tiempo se adaptaran como todo el calzado de piel,pero la talla es la correcta la que solamos usar.

Trage schon sehr lange Jahre Ecco Schuhe,bin immer wieder sehr zufrieden mit der Passformund der Bequemlichkeit.Auch ein sehr leichter Schuh,mit Bodenhaftung auch auf nassem Bodenwenn ich mit meinem Hund auf unebenen Wegen unterwegs bin.Kann den Kauf der Bella Black Oil Ankle Boots empfehlen..
