Excellent Quality.
It’s not poor quality at all. It’s very well made, using good materials...in fact. I’ve got over fifty mechanical pencils of all brands and cost levels. This Tombow is up there with the best of them. The feel in hand is solid. The gnurling on the metal grip section is near perfect for me...feels secure and control is excellent. It has a very good, but very narrow, eraser. Good for fine detail erasing only.

Simple & good
The quality in this case comes from the simplicity of the pencil. No extras, just a solid pencil. Metal knurling grip with anti-slip "for stable writing", topped with plastic (semi-transparent) body top. Well-made and good balance (toward the tip) and lighter weight. Simple and very good.

My package arrived a day earlier than promised and I was quite surprised.
This is my second shaker mechanical pencil from this company and the quality is impeccable. I love the weight and feel of this pencil as really light pencils don't work for me. I would definitely order from this company again.

Exceptional
These Monograph Zero pencils are very well made and a bargain at this price. The knurled grip is just right. It's one of the few mechanical pencils that I can write with for long periods of time and never get hand fatigue. Also, the Tombow lead is outstanding.

Did not last a week
I bought tis after another of my tombow .3 mechanical pencil I owned jammed past repair. I decided to give this one a try since it is more popular than their plain color design, but was it a mistake... It did not even last a week of college use (note taking mostly) before it broke while clicking lead out. I just bit the bullet and bought their 5 pack of .3 plain colored mechanical pencils instead (since ultimately I really like the tombow design), at least those last longer lol.

This pencil is one of my favs! It's lightweight and it's Tombow with a Tombow Mono Zero eraser! Perfection!

Surprised how excellent this pencil is upon arrival
I’ve read comments on online forums about this brand being high quality. Their appraisals are on point and I 100% agree. Well made, beautifully presented, and functionally perfect for my use. Tombow is probably the leader with their erasing technology and adding a very useable mechanical pencil technology makes this a real leader in the drafting pencil arena.
