Start Pump, place nozzle into gas tank and squeeze handle to begin flow of fuel. . . Place THE GAS MONKEY over the handle in a downward direction (The opening of the clip facing the ground). Turn THE GAS MONKEY 1/4 turn to the left or right and release handle lever. . There are two notches designed to hold the lever in place. Use the notch that works best for the pump you are using. . Once gas has stopped flowing, a "click" will be heard for automatic shut-off pumps. Turn THE GAS MONKEY back 1/4 turn and remove. . WARNINGS! ONLY use THE GAS MONKEY on pumps equipped with an automatic shut-off, vapor recovery system to avoid spillover. Never leave the gas pump unattended.
