5 pcs of Tin Ceiling Tile #121, Unfinished Nail-up for Tin Backplash or Ceiling

I used these on the wall behind my wood stove, mounted to quarter-inch concrete board which is, in turn, mounted 1/4 inch out from the surface of the wall (for airflow behind the board). I have a hot, hot stove which is set out from the drywall the appropriate distance according to mfg spec. However, the wall would still get hot to the touch, and I could only imagine how the wall studs would slowly bake over the years. So I put this up, and it is so reflective, when my little blast-furnace of a stove is at full heat, the surface of this tin is literally cold to the touch. Plus, it looks great. Just a heads-up: it is real tin. Uncoated. It will rust if exposed to moisture. So don't do that. :)

These squares are very easy to work with and look great when up. However, you must seal these as they are bear metal, in order to protect them.

Great product and value. Has not rusted despite my not protecting it with a clear coating. Many compliments after installing as backsplash in mobile home

Nice tin panels , not sure why ,the way they overlap, the seam is visible . Maybe this it how it was done traditionally.Also the ends are very sharp . wear gloves
