Mermaid Journal (Diary, Notebook)

This is a beautiful, embossed journal that comes with a strap to keep it closed and also an inside pocket. It is very well made, high quality, and exactly what I was looking for. I would highly recommend.

This is a beautiful notebook that has an elastic wrap for it to hold it together if you add in extra photos, papers, or ephemera. The outside of it has gold details which makes it pop. Excellent notebook for the price!

I really love this journal! Beautiful artwork and I love the gold shiny accents on the cover and back illustration. Some have said that the ink is visible through the page, which is true but when you write on the other side it does not affect how the ink shows up or how you read what you wrote in my opinion. Basically, yes you can see that you have written on the other side but does not affect the quality of other pages in my opinion. That should not be the reason to sway your decision on this purchase. Beautiful journal and quality!

I love Peter Pauper Journals and have owned quite a few. This one is beautiful with gold accents and a pocket in the back cover. It lays fairly flat when open too. I've been using sharpie pens (which are very nice about not bleeding through a page) and prismacolor colored pencils, and while you can see the writing faintly through the page, I don't think it's bad at all. The sticker came off the back very easily with no sticky residue left over. I would not hesitate to buy another journal just like this.

A little smaller than I thought, and when I tried to glue pictures in, the pages curled. It is a good value, but you get for what you pay for.

I love these journals in general. I have bought a couple of them and always satisfied with these journals. The design is exceptional not to mention very durable. And carries a small hide away pocket on the very back an added bonus..will continue to purchase.

I haven't opened the cellophane wrapper containing the journal, but I can tell the quality of the cover is there. Beautiful detail. Larger than the other journals purchased. I have purchased four of these for Christmas gifts. Two large (mermaid & fairy), two smaller, journal and a planner. Like I said, if the quality is as good inside (and I believe it will be) as the outside appears, I will happy.

I've been a fan of Stephanie's artwork for the past ten years so was drawn to these for the cover art. The covers are vibrant, intricate, and slightly textured. There's a gold shimmer added in places. Colours are true to the image. The paper inside is good quality, thick paper. As an aside, they smell wonderful, new book smell.It came packaged in a plastic wrap, with a sticker directly on the book cover itself. This came off relatively painlessly with gently lifting a corner and slowly pulling back, leaving no residue.Highly impressed and ended up immediately ordering a second for my mother.
