Works fine, easy to use
Works with my "EN600 PRO SSD 256GB PCle 3.0x4, NVMe M.2 2280" - I used it to transfer Ubuntu 24.04 image from SD card to SSD for Raspberry Pi 5. Well built, easy to use.

Supports both M2 SATA & NVMe, USB needs care
Good quality albeit the sides of the adapter are still sharp or rugged. It's also one of the few that does both SATA & NVMe (B+M key), and it allows to easily insert many sizes of SSD instead of only 2280 ones. The user manual is helpful, easily explaining how to identify many kinds of SSD drives. One point I can raise is that it's not advisable to plug any long & solid stick unattended into a computer prior to checking that nobody else walks around the room unaware.Otherwise anybody passing by and not noticing your computer might walk straight into the NVMe/NGFF adapter and break it apart. This does happen with USB drives & this adapter's shape looks similar.Anyway the USB connector is nonetheless pretty strong so it's not easy to remove it after use from a computer USB port, I prefer to use a third-party USB extender cable instead of plugging it directly. The adapter itself however has well soldered USB 3 pins.I tested both M2 SATA & NVMe and all is good, though I didn't any speed benchmarks.Final notes are: good quality, good price, as a precaution use an extender cable (there are USB 3.0 ones), and tested working well.

It works
Picked this up to upgrade from a fairly dated and slow enclosure. For me, the speed difference is extremely noticeable since I'm wiping drives with it.

It does the job.
This little device was a life saver as I went through all of our computer and upgraded our M.2 drives!

Works, but pulls hard on the USB outlet.
Has done it's job so far, but it is long and bulky and with no support, is probably not a good idea to plug directly into USB port.

Corrupted 2 drives installed.
Installed a new 2280 4tb drive. Device would connect and dissconnect every few seconds. Finally would stay connected until I hit format drive... then disconnect. Moved drive to different enclosure and instant success. Tried an already formatted drive... thought it might be having trouble with a blank drive, it was good for a few minutes and then disconnected. The drive would no longer recognise, so I swapped in another (spare 512gb) and it almost instantly corrupted that one. Used another enclosure and had to let windows drive recovery chew on them for ~30minutes each before they were usable again. Lucky i didnt actually use the drives in this housing, just installed and let them set that probably would have required a format and loss of data. Amazon wanta me to drive an hour or pay money to have the device returned. lol. Crappy customer service.

Awesome product and customer service!
I wanna first say that I reached out to the company with a question and they got back to me in a few hours. That is appreciated. This is a nice, well-made enclosure. One benefit that I really like is the attached USB-C cable. It stores neatly along the side of the unit so no more looking for the right cable. I'm not a computer genius so this was perfect for me to assemble and use. Just slide the cover off (no tools needed), insert a compatible SSD of your choice, replace the cover and you're done. Oh, don't forget to apply the included thermal heat pads to each side of your SSD. Easy directions are included. That's it! Now, you've got a portable SSD.BTW, I bought a 500gb SSD but you can pretty much pick whatever size you need. I did buy a USB-C female dongle for non USB-C ports but of course, that's optional if you already have a USB-C port.

Simple, effective & affordable - works great
I have used more sophisticated docker stations that only gave me troubles with defective cables, etc. This enclosure is simple, effective & affordable - works great! Good job!

Sconsigliato
