Acc-FILA3 Hi-Tech Microfilament Cleaning Cloths (3 Pack)

Fell for the hype -- no noticeable difference between this and microfiber cloths.
I really wanted to like this product! This pack includes 3 LARGE microfilament cloths (13x15 inches each)- Microfilament Cloths were advertised as a "next gen" Microfiber Cloth.. the benefits being stronger, safer (won't scratch), won't streak and lint-free.Seemed like a great item.. the sizes were very big (13x15 inches each) and the price was good.. Gave it a chance and I regret it.I own a lot of microfiber cloths - ones for TV's, ones for lenses, general purpose ones, ones for optical discs.. this one is advertised as a "do it all" cloth ("Safe for lenses, CDs, DVDs, LCDs, Electronics, Etc.")Unfortunately, I found that to not be the case.. Tried cleaning my TV with it and noticed streaking even with a brand new cloth and cleaning spray. Was unable to get rid of the streaks even after trying extremely hard. Finally got rid of them by using a regular microfiber cloth I already had. It's advertised as being able to clean "with or without chemicals" -- I tried it both dry and with specific cleaning fluid (Monster Screenclean, iClean and Purosol lens cleaner) and found I needed to rub harder for fingerprints/dust/dirt to lift from the screen. This concerns me as the same screen can be cleaned even better using regular microfiber cloths and the same cleaning fluids.I was not able to get any good results using it dry. This product has been discontinued and I have not seen any other "Microfilament" cloths on the market since, which also makes me wonder about it -- if it's the best cleaning cloth out there, why stop making it? and why hasn't anyone else made these? There are some typos on the packaging I received "..scrathcing!" which also has me wondering if the product I received was even an official product (since it has been discontinued). While it is advertised as "Super Soft, Lint Free and will not scratch" there is a disclaimer:* Clean microfilament cloths will not scratch* Avoid rubbing or attempting to clean any delicate surface when there are abrasive particles on the cloth or on the surface intended for cleaning as this will cause scrathcing! So basically "It won't scratch as long as nothing is on the screen" - this is also true of microfiber cloths, so shouldn't be considered a selling point. In the end, the value was good - 10 bucks for 3 large cloths - but it didn't work and even more importantly, left me concerned it would damage lenses/TVs because of the extra pressure required.I wanted to like it, but in the end it didn't live up to the hype and I'm going back to microfiber cloths. If you're looking for a very good one, look into the Purosol products which have worked wonders for me: Purosol Lens Cleaner Small Clamshell Kit

Happy Camper
I've had these for a month, but just used them today for the first time. I'm a very happy camper. As a rule I simply use a 30% Isopro. Alchohol solution with a cotton ball to clean my monitor screen, which gives good results, as a rule. But such cleanings would not remove a couple of stains on the monitor screen, so I decided to go more "high tech". Today I finally acted, and -- using a fraction of one microfilament sheet -- I applied the 30/70 solution (Isopr. Alch./distilled water). The stains are gone! Disappeared!Apparently, there needed to be more "traction" with the screen than the cotton ball afforded, and this microfilament sheet was just the ticket. While I got these while on sale elsewhere, truth be told, they're worth the standard retail price. Disappeared! I tell you !! The stains disappeared! The three sheets that come in each package are quite commodious, and I expect that this package will suffice, for me, for more than a few years to come.
