For the price, you can't beat it and it is well made. The plastic ring measurer is a slight pain but is accurate. the metal ring sizers are great but I do have a small complaint, they're hard to read for somebody that has poor eyesight. Overall, this is well worth the purchase and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!

Contains everything you'll need, even for commercial application. The metal rings were preferred over plastic and this item included more goodies. Remember to clear your knuckles for the right fit...JS

While this set/kit works well, its not for ring making, this set is actually for ring size measuring, its for testing the size of your finger, and the size of your ring and to make sure the ring fits properly, like I stated above, this set is not for ring making, its a double double flat sided mandrel one side has US sizes and the other side and metric sizes, so if you were to make rings with it your rings will have 2 flat sides on it, of avoid this set if you are looking for a mandrel to shape and make rings, with that said, this set is nice for the money, as you can see, the finger rings sizers are metal, and come with sizes 3-13 and in half sizes, the plastic finger sizer is very accurate as you can see in the picture, the polishing cloths have no solution on them for polishing so they are just dust cleaners, but you can impregnate them with jewelers rouge to polish your jewelry, they are more of a micro fiber so they wont scratch your pieces, the mandrel is made from aluminum that is hollow and has a plastic cap at the bottom to cover the forming hole from being manufactured and its nice and light as you can see from the pictures less then 6oz. I will keep this set to teach my students what not to buy. All in all I will recommend this kit, but only for ring/finger sizing, not for ring making or forming, for that you will need a round mandrel which you can pick one up for a few dollars more with a set of metal finger sizers.
