I love Biltong! It is a healthy snacking alternative and high in protein. I feel satiated aftering having a serving and the flavor is great!

Love the flavor and texture of this meat

If you're in it for the macros and the protein, this is the best choice on the market. But Biltong is NOT exactly jerky.It's yummy, but at the same time it's still a bit of an acquired taste. The Peri Peri flavor is (in my opinion) a bit more approachable than the original flavor for those with a more western palate. Chuck it in the fridge, work your way through it an ounce at a time. It really does work at adding flavor and body to sandwiches, salads, soups and whatever. Especially the little bits at the bottom of the bag.I don't swear by the stuff or live off it, but it's the best at doing what it does. Easy 5 stars.

Not at all like the biltong from home. I've purchased several different brands so far, you would have a better time with Bleddie Lekker or Braaitime. The flavor is way off. It tastes like American beef jerky, minus the sweetness and it's clear that it was dried as you would dry regular biltong. It tastes similar to Stryve "biltong." It's clear they have used a ton of different spices to make this biltong. In traditional South African biltong, a brown vinegar, salt, and coriander would be used, and sometimes peri peri (which I like). Some people may like this, but if you are looking for a traditional taste, you are wasting your time and your money.Side note: I have almost never disliked the taste of a product so much that I've written a review before.

While traveling through South Africa a few years ago, I got to try the amazing snack Biltong during a safari ride. I instantly became hooked and couldn't wait to purchase. Unfortunalty, I was not able to bring it back with me to the US. You can imagine my excitement when I saw an ad on Instagram for Brooklyn Biltong! It was ordered through prime within minutes. I cracked the bag open as soon as it was delivered and it didn't disappoint! The flavors are spot on and brought me back to my wonderful travels through SA. I've gotten my boyfriend hooked on it as well! Can't wait to try the other flavors!

Tasty good stuff

This is for the Peri Peri flavor only. The original and steakhouse flavors are excellent and I give them 5 stars easily.The issue that I have with the peri peri is that the heat level completely drowns out the rest of the flavor. I like spicy food, but this just tasted like spice and nothing else, whereas the other flavors are complex and delicious.

Buyer beware, you won’t be able to keep your hands out of the bag. This is an amazing snack that compliments just about anything. Put it on top of salads, grab a handful for quick snack, one of my favorite ways to enjoy Biltong is by adding it to a cup of bone broth. Doesn’t matter if the broth is beef or chicken, just add a handful and you got yourself a solid meal.
