Exactly What I Wanted
I wanted a mini fridge n my office, preferably one that had a bit of a retro vibe to it. I saw this one and was drawn to it but it was out of stock. A few weeks passed and my wife was placing things in the cart when she saw it was in stock and told me to grab it. Glad I did. This thing is sweet, it looks great and works even better. I had it cranked up and put a thermometer in it, by the end of the day it was at 19 degrees. So I turned it down a couple of notches. Everything is nice and cold. Size wise I can get a lot of drinks and snacks in there. I expected it to be much heavier but it's relatively light so yeah it can move when opening the door. Moderate noise level from the condenser, nothing that becomes to crazy, kind of white noise like. The shelves are plentiful and adjustable so big plus there. Outside of having to connect the bottle opener and handle, it was plug and go. Pretty easy to use. If there were one issue it's that the handle is plastic. I mean I would have loved a metal handle that actually unlatched the door than a plastic one that has to pull a bit to open. And really how much more is the cost for that over the plastic stationary handle? Probably a couple of dollars. But it would have taken this mini fridge to another level of cool.

Terriffic Small Fridge . . . especially for storing meds!!
Jul 2024 REPLACEMENT REVIEW: I ordered the exact same fridge, but the blue model. Delivery was on time, but upside down. This is NOT the same product that I had previously, but none of the changes impact functionality for my intended use, namely:-The outside of the 2021 red fridge was smooth and shiny. This 2024 blue fridge has a textured, grime collecting surface for the box, but a much preferred shiny door.-Note that the top product images show different inside door styles from the rest of this website. My 2021 red fridge had wire shelving; this one has plastic. Either should work just fine, but note that the plastic soda holders have holes in the bottom of each holder. Laying the meds down covers the hole.-2021 red version lacked an interior light; this one has a light.-2021 red freezer door was solid plastic; 2024 blue is vented plastic. Based upon other reviews, this newer style results in colder top shelf and warmer bottom of fridge temps. I haven't had it long enough to test. I hope that the new one, like the old one, does NOT freeze my meds.-2021 red freezer came with a mini ice cube tray. The freezer made ice just fine. 2024 blue model lacks an ice cube tray.-2021 red maintained refrigerator temperatures, per my thermometer. 2024 seems adequately cold; I haven't unpacked my thermometer yet.-2021 red had a shorter cord than the 2024 blue fridge.-2021 red had a thin plastic film on the fridge that made it look like the fridge was badly scratched. 2024 blue had no plastic film or bag wrapping it.-BOTH DELIVERIES were fine. No damage to boxes or refrigerators.Even though this 2024 blue fridge is NOT what I expected, it should still store my meds without a problem. IF young children were using this, then I'd prefer the wire shelving because plastic breaks too easily. That said, I bought trays to hold my meds in the door because they slipped under the wire and fell out. I do like the colors of both the red and the blue refrigerators.Apr 2024 UPDATE: I gave this away when I moved (advertised it as not working, ideal for a tinkerer); it worked when the recipient plugged it in. Apparently this was an electrical issue at my apartment, so I moved this back to five stars.Dec 2023 EDIT: It is dead. It worked for 2 1/2 years.Feb 2022 EDIT: This product was delivered in June 2021. It's now Feb 2022 and my lovely red refrigerator is still doing a fantastic job!!!I ordered this to keep my refrigerated meds cold without taking up space in my kitchen refrigerator or having the meds packaging absorb food odors. I also store beverages in it to take my oral meds. The door can hold one 2 quart bottle, or two 1 quart bottles, but not a 3 quart bottle. A 3 quart bottle fits lying down on the middle shelf. I don't happen to store beverage cans in it, so I cannot comment on that.My thermometer confirms that this product keeps within a normal range of refrigerated temps properly. This is important for my meds.Note that a number of reviews complain about scratches all over the exterior. This problem is resolved by removing the thin plastic film from the outside of the refrigerator. Tada!!! No scratches!Note that it is NOT frost-free. Plan to defrost every 4 to 6 weeks. Simply remove products from the refrigerator and place a couple of kitchen towels on the top shelf. Unplug for an hour or two. Wipe down the interior and the freezer drip tray. Plug in and return items to the refrigerator.I don't use the freezer section.I opted not to install the bottle opener. I tend to open the refrigerator using the finger indentations conveniently molded into the top of the door, so I cannot comment on the durability o the handle. However, the handle does match the style of Frigidaires from my youth.Delivery was much earlier than scheduled. I had to scramble to get someone to take it indoors because it arrived a week early and I was out of town. I had selected the slowest delivery available. Note that delivery is an AMAZON issue, NOT a manufacturer, seller, or shipper issue.I would absolutely buy this again for myself or a gift!

Great product.
Looks amazing in my office.

Retro cool look
Make sure your outlet is at full voltage. The one I plugged this into initially seems fine, but it was light enough that the fridge wouldn't cool. Once it got going though, runs great, looks cool, good for a kids room, dorm, etc

Poor packing lead to damage in shipping / manufacturer useless / handle doesn't work well
Refrigerator arrived damaged. There are at least 3 hits to the corner door which ruins the appearance. There's another dent on the side, but that one didn't bother me. I reached out to the manufacturer who simply said it was shipping damage and to return it to seller. They also said my warranty was now voided. I JUST wanted a new door shipped to me to keep an otherwise working refrigerator out of the landfill. Not only did they deny that since they had my serial number, they VOIDED MY WARRANTY. Talk about customer disservice!I believe the damage might not have occurred if it was packaged better. There wasn't much side protection and the corner protection. The corners (where the damaged occurred) had thin non-corrugated cardboard. There was styrofoam on top and bottom and some cardboard on the sides.Don’t be fooled by the name, Frigidaire doesn’t manufacture these refrigerators. You are not buying a name-brand product. The manufacture is Cutris International that is based in Canada. The refrigerator is made in China. The warranty may not be good if it’s not sold through a “reputable dealer.” I have had manufactures deny warranty though products purchased though Amazon. Do your research.Maybe this was meant to be returned because it really has some annoyances that would have bothered me...1) Despite having a handle, it's just a plastic non-moving part. The refrigerator door is much harder to open using the handle. There's a lot more suction to it. So much, the whole refrigerator pulls towards you. Mine is on a table. It's much easier opening it from the top like normal mini refrigerator. So the handle is just for show. I could imagine at parties people getting confused because its so hard to open. “Yeah, ignore that handle and just open at the top…”2) There's a smaller glass shelf on the bottom is not level to shelf behind it. If you're using it as a drink cooler (my intention,) then anything you stack on that shelf is not level with that little piece of glass. There’s not “two shelves,” it’s one and a half. The full-size shelf could be higher or lower. Why not just include an extra shelf to maximize space? They didn’t and the parts guy was too busy voiding my warranty to give me a price on a second full size shelf.3) The freezer is tiny. It’s only 3” tall, 12” wide, and 8” deep. What are you going to put in there? A small TV dinner? The freezer and tray underneath is 5” of wasted space. They should have saved that option for a bigger refrigerator. It’s useless. On a positive side, the refrigerator does work well. My drinks are cold. It’s very quiet. Had it not arrived damaged I might have kept it and just fixed some of the annoyances.

Great quality mini fridge
The media could not be loaded. Cute retro fridge but the quality is there. I bought this 4 years ago, it has been pulled in continuously since then and still going strong! Hold plenty of cans and lots of room inside for whatever you need to keep cool. It also has a freezer compartment would be good for a dorm too.
