Maggie Moves On

I laughed, I cried, I swooned! This was everything! 6 stars!
Simply incredible. Maggie Moves On is a new favorite! 6 stars! The characters, the attention to detail, the build, the house, and even the dog. There were so many amazing moments filled with so much feeling. I laughed, I cried, I swooned, and completely fell in love with Maggie and Silas. This story was perfection.Maggie and Silas were truly the best. I instantly loved Silas and his flirty ways, he was so charming and sweet right from the start. This man made me melt! I loved Maggie and her in charge attitude and all she’d accomplished and overcome. I understood what she wanted and the conflict it created since Silas was in hot pursuit. They had undeniable chemistry with a playful banter that was sexy and fun. There was an excellent balance between the humor and heat (oh my with the heat!!!). I loved them opening up, learning their history, and being vulnerable. There were so many wonderful scenes between these two that had me laughing and others that were full of so much emotion. It was a very well-rounded story from beginning to end.I think I loved the secondary characters just as much as I loved Maggie and Silas. I wish I could mention every one of them and just how important and meaningful they were. I loved how their stories and history mixed in with the overall storyline and the wit and cleverness they brought. I loved the family Silas and Maggie formed with them, the friends they find and bring into the fold, right down to the animals, it was everything. I really enjoyed Silas’s family as well and all the different dynamics that were taking place. There were so many moments that filled me up and made my heart happy. Besides the romance, there's a beautiful story about the house itself and the original owners that added a layer of mystery to it all. I loved all the hints and clues and the dots connecting along the way, giving the story an extra special layer that made it even more fulfilling.I make no secret of the fact that Lucy Score is one of my favorite authors. I feel like she weaves magic into her stories, bringing them to life, making my world just a little brighter. That 100% happened with this book. It was an incredibly well-developed and detailed story with a phenomenal build and I had a really hard time putting my Kindle down and getting anything done. I couldn’t wait to find out what would happen next.Maggie Moves On was extremely entertaining with laugh-out-loud moments but it was also filled with so much emotion and heart and healing… plus a touch of adventure! Fantastic read! 6 stars!

Lucy did it again!
From start to finish this book was captivating, funny, frustrating, heartwarming and just plain wonderful. I absolutely adore the characters. Would love to see more of this Idaho town.

it’s a Lucy trope, and fun
Good character development with unrealistic romance and overly quick commitment, typical of Lucy’s books. There’s humor, extended family characters are well developed and caring. Interesting layers to the story.

Another great book by Lucy Score
Maggie Moves On is a sweet, happy, and inspiring book with the sweetest male protagonist, Silas, and an empowered, strong, and successful female character, Maggie.I felt truly, genuinely happy throughout this book. I love it when all the pieces fall into place, and all characters have their moment and relevance in the story. Also, there is a great plot twist with the town's history! The found family trope felt just right and was a significant part of the book.

The Fun in this Book just Kept Building
I was surprised how much depth this romance story had. Honesty in self perception, forgiveness, and what makes a family were major themes. Nice character development and believable personal struggles added color to this enjoyable story. With its mild plot twists and light mystery I can see this tale as a fun movie.

Delightful!
This writer writes detailed books filled with romance, snark, laughter, great dialogue, and all kinds of characters. This one did not disappoint.I loved how the two main characters meshed together. They grew, they matured, they changed (their choices, all). The long cast of supporting characters were delightful, and the house itself was a character, with all its secrets and history. I loved the reveals at the end, and the loose ends being tied up. You'll enjoy this book!

loved Maggie and Silas but
Could have done without the whole treasure hunt thing. The renovation storyline was unique enough! But as I said, love Maggie and Silas soooo much

Excited to read, but…
I’m so excited to read, but the cover is not as pictured! Just a heads up, it’s the original cover that I received. Bummed because I was looking forward to the receiving the pink flowery cover as pictured.

Another great book by Lucy Score
I love that beyond the humor and romance, there's always a great back story. Every character has so much depth, and there's just the right balance of description and action so you can't manage to put the book down

Well....
Some parts I wildly loved, and some parts were just... too much. The fairy tale elements went a little over the top sometimes. Kevin is hilariously the best part of the book.

what a fun read
I’m a sucker for books with tradespeople in it and thoroughly loved this book! A lot of romance, great relationships and a hint of mystery rounded out with the most adorable dog. Highly recommend!

Ok book
I am a huge Lucy Score fan. However, this book is just OK. A lot of description on the house, renovations and not many of the fun quirky characters that she usually has in her other books. Just ok.
